    Worst management.
The good thingsRank and File and middle management support each other.
The challengesTop management is not decisive. Very traditional. If you are performing well in your career as a manager and you transfer here, this might ruin it all. No opportunity for growth.

Typical workplace with the usual pros and cons. I think the Chairman should retire since his children are doing very well managing the company.
The good thingsFriendly colleague. Also the Managers are not intimidating, they are willing to address your concerns wherever department you came from and whatever position you have. Salary is okay, depending on how you can prove yourself during the negotiation and interview.
The challengesLacking of Human Resources Empowerment Adherence to Company Policies and Procedures Weekend work (3 hours) The company cannot adapt to the innovative style of management because they are used to work old fashioned.

It is nice working with the people who are so contented with little small things.
The good thingsThe owner and the siblings are good people. Enjoy working with the children, they just need to have a good table of organization set up by concern and liable officers.
The challengesThey need to have a stable and working Human Resource organization who will be in charge of the hiring and setting up of benefits for the employees.

There is no program for an employee to grow; no performance management system and no work balance.
The good thingsThey hire employees even above 50 years old.
The challengesThey should consider providing employees some training and some social activities. At present, we are working 6 days a week (compressed work week) from 9:00 to 7:00 pm Mondays to Fridays and 9:00 am to 12:00 noon on Saturdays. We were even asked to work on declared holidays. No company outing, no Christmas party.

    OLD-FASHIONED MANAGEMENT
The good thingsThey have a good working environment. Except saturday worrk.
The challengesThe management has an old-fashioned approach of handling its employees. It could've been better only of they also try to listen to what the employees have to say and should adapt to technological changes. Internal processes are still manual.

    A Most Unfortunate Experience
The good thingsI was hired on the day that I was interviewed.
The challengesI was not given my own computer and this was in 2008. I had to share a computer with 3 people. Meetings lasted until 10pm. I worked in that place for two weeks and was able to prepare 14 Minutes of Meetings and was told that I did not know how to prepare the Minutes of a meeting. The ambience is stiff, unfriendly, hostile even.

    Working in a micro-management style set-up
The good thingsThe management has to re-invent corporate culture change. Only the owner decides.... employees, not even officers are given the authority to decide even on simple matters affecting operation. The management has to trust his employees otherwise, employees will be working like robots!
The challengesIt would be a great challenge to the present set of officers to make a 360 degree turn in the style of management to address the fast turn over and overall improvement of the company's performance. It would be great too if the management will provide the employees with benefits common in the industry. Right now, R&F, Protech employees are enjoying only the mandated 5 day service incentive leave.
