    A Lot of Improvement
The good thingsI have seen a lot of changes with the company since last year. From poor management, it became more collaborative. They started recognizing our efforts, providing more events for us and I heard more trainings this year. Office is newly renovated and some people got promoted also.
The challengesSome managers are hard to deal with but some are empowering.

    Fast-paced and challenging
The good thingsA good place to learn new things and meet new people, as well as see how the entertainment and advertising industry works. Fast-paced, but the success of projects is satisfying to those who love creativity and producing content.
The challengesThe environment/management may be hard for some people, and the work/life balance is not seen well. Put on a strong facade if you don't want to be stepped on.

Low salary and lacks manpower so other jobs/duties will be given to you.
The good thingsGood events, few gift certificates and parties.
The challengesToxic culture. Lacks professionalism among few people. Don't expect collaborative work ethic.

The New Management is Getting Better
The good things- more engagement for employees - we are now having more trainings - I noticed that they are putting more structure on how we do things - HR is love!
The challenges- some managers need to learn how to manage the young generation - work hours should be more flexible since this is a media company

The good thingsLoved my work, enjoyed in learning new things. There are some people who are good to work with and there are some sincere and trustworthy..
The challengesPoor management, extreme and upfront politics. Not a good environment for work some bosses are inconsiderate, has unreasonable demands, slave driver.. no future plans for the employee. No increase in salary. Overwork underpaid. You may experience verbal abuse most of the time. Unprofessional woking environment

    Things have changed
The good thingsThis is a good place for young, creative individuals, especially the events department.
The challengesBenefits package is not good. Not sure how things are now but they didn't even offer maternity leave back then.

    Oh My Mega
The good thingsIt's a pioneering fashion and lifestyle mag. Still the best in content and style. You'll learn a lot, network a lot. Great to kick off your career in publishing, marketing, editorial work. You get all the nice stuff from A-1 clients who want to advertise or be featured. For instance, as editor of their food magazin I never had a problem with noche buena. I always got the best stuff from the chefs.
The challengesDanger of falling into a frivolous lifestyle, as this world is all about \"IMAGE.\" The company hasn't established a retirement package, which is unusual, as they've been in the business for a long time. Not a place to retire from. The employee packages are not competitive. Probably because employee turnover is quite fast.

    Behind the Glamour
The good thingsVery hands-on working experience. Working in this company gave me a chance to meet a lot of people; giving me the opportunity to broaden my network. Many opportunities were given to me to further my skills in this industry.
The challengesThe stress in this environment is a major factor. This media group is so broad and it aims to expand even further, but (in my opinion) seems to lack the man-power to do so; causing a number of employees to work overtime and do other tasks that is not necessarily in their job description.

    OMG, OMG!
The good thingsThe employees here are very creative and bright. It's a good company to build one's network and to gain experience.
The challengesThey should invest in good talent and employee retention program.
