Pure and utter disspointmentThe good thingsNo delays in pay and benefits
The challengesI worked as a Linehaul Supervisor at Ninja Van and gave my utmost dedication to the role. During my time, I put in significant effort to help bring WH back on its feet at a time when the site was at risk of closure. Through strategic route planning, I was able to save the company millions, and by fixing and optimizing the workers’ schedules, I ensured smoother delivery and receiving operations.
Despite these contributions, I was eventually let go due to retrenchment, along with my regional line manager. This made it clear to me that Ninja Van does not truly value the hard work and sacrifices of employees who go above and beyond to keep operations running.
To make matters worse, the offboarding process was unnecessarily stressful and disorganized. Departments were unresponsive, replies to emails took weeks, and even simple clearance signing became a drawn-out hassle. Promises made during the process were not followed through, which made leaving the company a frustrating experience
