    No overtime pay, No promotion, No salary increase and No health care insurance within 3 years.
    The good thingsNo good things, some officers are undisciplined and don't know how to follow office standard.
    The challengesThe office equipment and department head is broken, often malfunction and not working properly. Other equipments and department officers are old and faulty and can no longer keep up with the pace of work.

    Don't waste your time working here because officer and head are incompetent.
    The good thingsThe good things are there are people who are helpful and supportive and the office location has many food establishments.
    The challengesSome Officers are very unprofessional very lazy and cannot even go to work for one straight week and the department head where I used to work is very incompetent. They down graded the drawings software that we are using

    My work experience in new san jose is good but not very good because of the gossiping with in the company. My officers and managers are very supportive and hardworking our department head is very understanding but some department head defame and spread gossip and fake news about our head

    Every departments should have unity and proper coordination to each other for the good of the company. Stop spreading of gossips and humors about the heads of other departments. Work accordingly and be honest and don't spread lies
    The good thingsMost of my colleagues are very fun to be with, very supportive and also hardworking
    The challengesDepartment need to have proper coordination because it's hard to get the necessary documents and plans from other department when the client request for it, department heads should be supporting each other not spreading gossip & humors because it will affect the whole company.

    If you are looking for a good experience in architecture this is not the place for you because you will not learn anything right by working here. Most senior officers are undisciplined, incompetent, & unprofessional.

    The challengesThey have no schedule, unorganised and do not respect your personal time. department head, principal architect are inexperienced. the new manager is incompetent, always late and always absent. Their projects have many flaws and are not building code compliance. Officers are unprofessionals.

    The quality of the hired employees specifically the managerial position is getting lower and lower since the department is headed by a inexperienced professionals. Instead of upgrading the quality of workers, the department is falling further and further due to the hiring of unqualified workers.

    The challengesThe newly hired bim manager is lazy, always late, always absent and has no experience and ability to teach and no basic knowledge in architecture and design standards compared to the two previous managers.

    The challengesMost of the leaders (department head, principal architect & senior manager) who are making the office standards don't have actual architectural & on-site experience that's why the office standard that they want to implement are full of errors & not the proper & correct standard that most professionals are using. They are just copying other company standard & change it a little to pretend that they made it. Very unprofessional

    The challengesWorking with incompetent and inexperienced principal architect and department head. The department head has no knowledge of department management and no knowledge of staff management also he has no knowledge about Architecture. Principal architect is incompetent and has no knowledge about design and architecture.

    The good thingsNo work schedule and most seniors and leaders are always late
    The challengesThey spent a lot of money upgrading software that they didn't know how to use properly and downgraded the software that everyone was using so our work slowed down a lot because of the weak management and poor decisions making of our seniors & department head. Long working hours 8:00am to 6:36pm and they want you to stay longer to pretend that our department is productive :)

    Please save yourself, there are already too many awful stories working for New San Jose Builders as a property consultant. Many other reputable real estate developer companies out there treat employees better.
    The good thingsFriendly co-workers and sales managers are helpful and supportive
    The challengesHORRIBLE! I experience my salary being delayed twice. I even have experience working without receiving our salary for one cut-off pay. The two admin officers are not approachable and unfriendly. I couldn't close a deal with a client because my client backed out after learning about the bad reputation of San Jose Builders.

    Terrible Company do not work here
    The good thingsThe only positive thing working here is that you will have time to have free time. The work is not that demanding but depends on the position and department
    The challengesSalary is low, benefits are not competitive. Management does not how to run a real estate company. Management does not support organic employees and their sales force. Politics are rampant in this company. Leaders are incompetent. Leaders tend to point fingers on their subordinates when issues arise and takes the credit when things go right.
