WISH YOU WOULD TREAT JOB ORDERS BETTER!
The good thingsExperience wise, it's okay. You'll learn a lot of things because it is the primary bureau in the field of mining and geosciences. It will also allows you to connect with other professionals and meet all kinds of people. If you are applying for the GSD (Geosciences Department), you will hone a lot of skills. If you are a Mining Engineer, you'll get to see how the system works and what are the reportorial documents submitted to the government for future references if you ever wish to transfer to a private mining company.
The challengesAS A GOVERNMENT ENTITY, I HOPE YOU'LL TREAT YOUR EMPLOYEES BETTER. Yeah, sure, we are only job order employees but we are licensed TECHNICAL PEOPLE who spent 4-5 years of our live studying. We shouldn't be begging for our wages when we deserve it and we actually work for it. There are a lot of people who just stay in the office and do NOTHING the whole day (these are plantilla personnel) who got paid on time and who wants their bonus on time. We work for our salaries. Give it to us ON TIME because need to eat as well just like the plantilla personnel. And you wonder why so many technical people quit. -_-
