Low salary, stressful management, tons of workloadThe good things• You can get along well with people outside your department - they are always willing to extend help.
• Convenience - location of the hospital is just beside United Nations LRT Station.
The challenges• VERY LOW salary.
• Management is stressful. Most bosses are headaches for staff.
• Too many approvals of works done.
• Duty starts from 8am and should end at 6:30pm. However, due to tons of workload, OT is inevitable. You sometimes extend until 9pm onwards just to finish the task given to you nearly at 630pm because they need it for tomorrow's presentation.
• Poor work ethics.
• They don't care about your personal time. They even give you work even on weekends.
• Job descriptions are not followed.
• Additional tasks are given to you (especially tasks of the resigned employee) without additional compensation.
• Too limited benefits. No HMO is given to employees.
• Unhappy culture due to stress.
• No employee recognition. Except on anniversaries, employees working for about 20+ years are given certificates of loyalty.
• Limited employee engagement activities and training.
• Low opportunities for career development.
• No work/life balance.
