    Don't even bother applying here.
The good thingsBla bla bla bla bla.
The challengesI wanted to take a moment to provide feedback on my recent experience with your company's hiring process. While I appreciate the opportunity and your interest in my application, I must express my deep disappointment with how the process was conducted. Firstly, I felt that the entire application process was rushed and lacked consideration for applicants' time constraints. On Friday, August 8, 2023, I had prior commitments scheduled for 3 p.m. I had diligently completed the assessment test well before 2 p.m. that day to ensure I could attend my commitment on time. However, my disappointment grew when I received a call informing me that an initial interview needed to be conducted at 2:20 p.m. I had previously communicated my unavailability due to my prior commitment, but it seemed my scheduling constraints were disregarded. Regrettably, I was told there were no alternative time slots available, leaving me with no choice but to proceed with the interview despite my situation. Conducting the interview while I was in a Grab car proved to be incredibly challenging. The unfamiliar environment was far from conducive, and I found it highly distracting. To make matters worse, the interviewer did not provide the assistance or support I would have expected during such an unconventional interview setup. Based on this initial experience, I am left with serious reservations about the company's approach to its hiring process. If this is indicative of how the company operates from the very beginning, I must honestly reconsider whether I wish to be a part of it. I value professionalism and respectful consideration of applicants' circumstances in the hiring process, and I did not feel that this was adequately demonstrated. In light of this experience, I have decided to pursue alternative opportunities I appreciate the chance to engage with your company, but I believe it is best for both parties to explore different paths. Thank you for considering my feedback, and I hope you will take it into account as you continue to improve your hiring process for future candidates.

    Poor Training - No Structure
The good thingsshort span - 4 days only. Limited trainees / small population in a class.
The challengesNo setting of expectation on the measure of success / assessment parameters. They will share parameters result after you failed - that's the only time you will be informed of the parameters you've missed. Majority of the class failed and some backed out...only 28% of the population remained. Indeed MAGIC!

Great environment, management needs improvement though
The good thingsI enjoy working with my colleagues. The people I work with is what makes me stay. The work load is alright too compared to other jobs in this particular industry.
The challengesHowever, the company is constantly changing internally. Constant and disorienting stage. There are no opportunities for improvement for those in leadership roles. Basically, upper management has no real leadership training/up-skilling. Once they see potential in you they just throw you in a management position, while the recognition is great, it's also dangerous to keep putting underdeveloped talent in leadership roles, in the end the little guys suffer because of this. Also we have little to no benefits.

Young startup with lots of AOOs
The good thingsSince the company is just about 4 years old, it's relatively young and so their employees. Most employees there are "millenials" and the office is in the center of BGC, so it's really accessible and the atmosphere is young and vibrant. The pay, though it's not super-high, is decent enough to cover your bills and transportation.
The challengesThe job description is almost vague. Most managers would expect that you know what to do right away, despite them not giving formal training when you come in. The equipment is old (maybe they're provided by the outsourcing company but still) and PCs are slow.

    Great culture, transparent communication
The good thingsThe company's trust and belief in their employees is amazing. Any employee can speak up about their ideas or objections. We get good reasons why the company makes decisions the way they do. Business mentoring comes from the CEO himself. Top management always works hard to take everyone into consideration.
The challengesWork can be confusing and stressful when too much is coming in. There is a disconnect between local and foreign employees, and among departments. They keep an open culture, but they have trouble maintaining it.

It was nice staying in Magic even for a short time.
The good thingsThe people, trainers, and staff are really nice. The working environment is really cool because they let you be you by letting you wear or look like anything you want.
The challengesSome trainers are really sketchy.
