One of the best if not the best ESL for newbies
The good thingsIf you don't have an experience yet teaching students, this company will teach you how. They will not deploy you ill-prepared. Their staff are accommodating and very approachable.
The challengesThere are some weeks that you have low bookings especially in August when it is summer vacation. I suggest having a second ESL but never leave Linguage. I tried other ESLs but the environment of Linguage is on a next level.

    Good working environment
The good thingsThere would be no problem as long as you adhere to the company's protocols and be a responsible to your tasks. The management is very supportive and is there anytime you need help. My team is very supportive, fun and helps you get motivated. Of course, your earnings will depend on the number of classes you have conducted successfully.
The challengesYou really need to have a stable internet connection, otherwise the class will be transferred to other teachers.

    Nice Company for Part-time Workers
The good thingsIf you want to have flexible working hours then you can join this company. You are paid 100 PHP per 25-minute class and it's not a bad wage for a part-timer. I'm currently working here right now and I would say this company is nice. I love teaching high school Japanese students and working here is a dream come true. They have great coaches and teachers. They're approachable and kind and they will always help you whenever you have technical problems on your end. I've heard that if you are an office-based teacher, you'd get great perks. So, I'm thinking of becoming part of their company as an employee soon.
The challengesThey have an old booking system and I hope in the future they'll change it or improve it because other teachers find it difficult to navigate. If you choose this company, you have to follow their protocols religiously because they're strict on implementing them all the time you have classes. So you must always bear that in mind. Since their booking system is a generated one, then you have to open slots 1-2 months prior to your target schedule because if you open them weekly then you'll get very few bookings, and sometimes you won't have one in a day. And also, they have a 10% tax deduction in your paycheck, so that's one of the sad things here; but anyway that's how it works here.

The good thingsFlexible schedule. The rate per class is Php 100. Polite students. Very responsive staff when you encounter problems during class.
The challengesVery few classes assigned. Not responsive to the requests/concerns of their previous service providers. They will not answer your emails and questions if you are no longer connected with them. No specific reason given as to why your contract was not renewed. 10% tax deduction Complicated teaching platform. They have so many protocols that you must follow during class because their teaching platform is terrible.
