It was fun for the first 5 years but there was no career growth in the next 2 years.
The good thingsI definitely learned a lot from technical and other aspects of manufacturing.
The challengesThere are lots of tasks that are outside my objectives.

There are many things to learns here.
The good thingsPeople are easy to communicate and work with. And there are a lot of new things to learn here: from designing, prototyping, to testing and evaluation, process design, quality investigation, and production.
The challengesSomtimes, there are communication issues with the managers. You have to give assistance to LS Japan, Production, Product Development, and QA departments which sometimes take the manhours needed for the design and development of a new product. This tends to make the development slower.

Not a company, but a family
The good thingsI consider myself blessed to have this as my first job. I think the greatest asset this company has were the people, and I was just glad to meet all of them, from the workers, engineers, up to the management. As my review title speaks about, this wasn't a company, but really a family, and it's not an overstatement. The leaders were very approachable and understanding. I've always felt free to manage my time, express my opinions, share personal difficulties and suggest improvements on how I want my environment to work. In my case, I think I built relationships that are good to last for a lifetime.
The challengesOne thing the company can improve upon is on the development of their people when it comes to their technical skills and career challenges. After years of being there, I thought the company could no longer add more challenge for my career.
