Frustrating experience with unfair treatment, inconsistent rules, and low support.The good thingsI genuinely enjoyed working with my students and witnessing their progress. I’m also grateful for the colleagues who supported me throughout my time there—they made the experience more bearable and meaningful.
The challengesMy experience in this workplace was very disappointing. There was unfair treatment, no fairness or consistency, and the rules kept changing every semester. We had three different VPAAs in three semesters, and it was chaotic. Many faculty felt unqualified and unsupported, while the HR staff acted entitled instead of helping. The salary was also far from proportional to the workload. Overall, it was not a healthy or professional environment for me.
