    Stressful but Challenging
The good things1. Improves your decision making skills in terms of the following: - Giving deadlines. - Routing and placement assessment. 2. Improves your 8D analysis if there were issues. 3. Improves your communication skills (Japanese proficiency). 4. Able to read schematic diagram; understanding circuit block functions. 5. Increase knowledge on PCB layout design.
The challenges1. Work scope is very limited; focuses only on PCB layout - Routing and placement - Component and board CAD 2. Very low salary increase (but it is yearly given); Starting salary for 1-2yr experience is less than 20k PhP. 3. Deadlines are sometimes impossible so you are obliged to work for 36 hrs (personal experience). - Deadlines were set by Japanese counterpart sometimes.
