People in operations are good and many has potentials, but cannot be maximized (promotion) due to educational requirements. The good thingsMost people in operations, from QC fields, operators, to security and housekeeping taught me a lot in life, their kindness and resilience kept me grounded at all times. The QC manager was the best mentor I've had and one of the reasons why I stayed. The plant manager was also very supportive.
The challengesHRs are expected to be 'pro-employee', but most employees feel otherwise. And once you parted ways, they will make you feel disposable; they become unresponsive and will not cascade memo or even give complete instructions. Some leaders lack competence, jeopardizing their own team/department.
