    A caring and collaborative community.
The good thingsIt adheres to my philosophy as a teacher. The school gives you the freedom to create your own activities for your classroom as long as it promotes learning to both the students and the teachers. The school also promotes collaboration not only among its students but also within the teachers, parents, and other members of the school community. The co-teachers support you in the best way that they can. They do their best to assist you in your growth and development in your field. They always have a helping hand that they willingly lend to each other. Everyone is approachable and friendly which makes it easy for the teachers to feel warm and welcomed.
The challengesSchool events may be quite stressful in terms of preparation and the day itself. It really requires flexibility but it is all worth it to see the parents and students enjoying each activity.

The school continuously promotes a learning culture.
The good thingsThe school has an open-door policy, not just with the parents but with the whole school community. The school leaders motivate the teachers by recognizing the challenges and issues we face and helping us overcome them specially if they are parent related concerns. We all have the freedom to be creative inside our classrooms as long as we deliver quality education to our students. Teachers who perform well are recognized and the others are encouraged to follow suit. It isn't a very big school but there's always a room for a career development. The teachers and school leaders genuinely care about all the students and their progress. The work environment is friendly and the school leaders as well as the teachers are approachable.
The challengesIt could be quite stressful during school events, but then again, stress and pressure is normal in any institution.

    Meaningful work
The good thingsThe school tries to be at the forefront of innovation. Learning is a collaborative experience where students, parents, teachers, caregivers and other members of the community are enjoined to participate in school activities that develop our virtues.
The challengesWe have to be willing to learn and up the ante all the time.

Has a caring school community that nourishes students, teachers, staff & their families
The good thingsDemocracy at work. Everyone collaborates --- students, teachers, staff, and even parents, to make education more enriching and more meaningful. NO politics. Management is approachable and supervisors truly care for you and your development. Multiple opportunities to engage in planning and implementing activities, projects, and school events with motivated and cheerful coworkers.
The challengesBecause the school supports students in all developmental areas (holistic development), teachers and staff need to deal with parents and guardians. Some could be challenging but that is one area to grow professionally and personally, too. One's EQ is further developed.

    I've found my second family.
The good thingsI enjoyed the environment a lot: location, co-teachers, admin/staff, the students. The school community really felt like a second family, especially since you end up spending the majority of your week at work. Co-teachers really help each other out and provide new ideas and comfort for when you're really struggling with classes. The students are very sweet and talented, and it is such a joy to know that you have a hand in helping them grow into better individuals.
The challengesAt times, the responsibility given to you could be overwhelming, so you have to really be flexible when you come work for this school. Although the low number of faculty and staff makes everything feel close and tight-knit, it could be one reason why the amount of work seems daunting at times. It would be best if there were more people to work with, especially since the school is growing larger at each passing year.

    It’s a great opportunity.
The good thingsThe admin, teachers, and staff are very friendly and helpful. It makes the work light and less stress. In addition to that, the students are very respectful and they practice the virtues almost all the time. You’ll love working here because of them. There are also a lot of opportunities for the teachers and students to grow, learn, and experience new things.
The challengesSince this is a progressive school, there are a lot of changes in the activities and you really have to be flexible.

    It was good.
The good thingsI get to meet new people.
The challengesI think the salary is just average, could've been better if it increased over time.
