I've found my second family. The good thingsI enjoyed the environment a lot: location, co-teachers, admin/staff, the students. The school community really felt like a second family, especially since you end up spending the majority of your week at work. Co-teachers really help each other out and provide new ideas and comfort for when you're really struggling with classes. The students are very sweet and talented, and it is such a joy to know that you have a hand in helping them grow into better individuals.
The challengesAt times, the responsibility given to you could be overwhelming, so you have to really be flexible when you come work for this school. Although the low number of faculty and staff makes everything feel close and tight-knit, it could be one reason why the amount of work seems daunting at times. It would be best if there were more people to work with, especially since the school is growing larger at each passing year.
