A very good INGO with a possibility to convert potential employees into advocates of changeThe good thingsI am very happy with this INGO! This is one of the best organizations to work on uplifting not only advocacy in what you are fighting for, but also integrating technical support for current and upcoming programs catered to the marginalized and vulnerable communities.
I formally like the work set-up first, followed by the constant communication of colleagues, since they are very workplace-friendly and approachable to deliver quality documents for proper research and implementation.
Lastly, your work gives you worth and shapes you to convert yourself into an advocate of change. Yes, fight for the future!
The organization is happy to keep the momentum and soar high to be an active team player for the country.
The challengesThere were no negative challenges just yet. Some minor setbacks are observed, such as minimal offerings of permanent/full-time positions, low salary arrangements for contract or part-time endeavors, and far location of working (well, most of them are remote and their HQ is in Cavite).
Nevertheless, I hope that there are more offices in this INGO to offer not only in satellite offices but also within the component cities and the Metro. (But again, it is based on the budget).
Otherwise, the positive contributions outweigh the challenges, and IIRR is here to stay for many years to come!
