I miss Intel here in the Philippines.
The good thingsHealth card was superb, all free including your immediate dependent. They even covered free medicine. Amazing!
The challengesWhat I really enjoyed working with Intel was the compensation and benefits. Though the company left the Philippines, I hope our government will extend good offer if in any case that Intel will decide to come back and invest again.I can't really remember much about challenges because I believe that Intel was the best company.

Indeed a Great place to work!
The good thingsLots of opportunities to grow. Above market benefits with emphasis on total compensation. State of the art technologies. Lots to learn. Managers focused on people management.
The challengesNone on the negative side. The challenge is continue learning as it is a fast-paced technology company. Unfortunately, the company ended operations here back in 2009.

The good thingsCompany it self is very kind to their employees. The management is great. Absolutely great place to work. So many benefits to their employees. The employees is not like others to the company. They treasure it all. From first in until the last day out. We have so many knowledge learned in the company that we treasure all the way in our lives. So many happy moments for the past 14 years in the company.

The good thingsTeamwork and camaraderie to achieve our common goal in delivering required number of goods. All personnel are calibrated on must happen for our deliverable. The usual and practical way of celebrating our typical Filipino holidays. We do exist and stay for the love of what we do which drives our passion to work & live effectively.
The challengesEveryday is a challenge for us to exceed what was previously attained, we never settle and stop when reached declared deliverable, instead we strive hard to exceed our customer expectations without compromising Safety,Quality and Productivity.

The good thingsWork Life Balance! They provide enough training/resources to achieve personal and team goal. (e.g. developmental day, once a month) 360 Feedback tool is working objectively All transaction are paperless (e.g. leave application)
The challengesit is really challenging in terms of time during focal period. Having 1:1 with associates and doing all the writes-up for each associate.

    Great Place To Work
The good thingsMy first boss, the job integration plan, the culture, opportunities to learn from diverse workforce, the corporate values on integrity, risk-taking, open communication, and of course the employee benefits, one of the best companies in the world!
The challengesThe work location is at the city outskirt. Employees should have a solid decision to migrate near the workplace to survive and overcome the challenge of distance between home and work. Attrition rate was mostly caused by its location.

The good thingsWork life balance is being encouraged by the management Results oriented culture. Time in and time out is insignificant. Opportunity to shine through accomplishments. There is an open door policy, so if you have a concern with the way of working or the people around you, there is always a room to talk things out. Stock options.
The challengesThe force rank and rating system seems to demoralize people even the performance results are way convincing.
