This is a good place to work, and is a great first work.
The good thingsThe work environment is great, with accommodating leads, clean and well-maintained facilities, and proper communication.
The challengesThe trainings are not easy. It requires deep understanding of policies, logic, reasoning, with heavy emphasis on analyzation, and root-cause analysis.

The company doesn't give any benefits aside from the salary, also there is no way to grow and get promoted.
The good thingsGood for fresh grad only. Good to start with ISS for few months and then leave.
The challengesVery weak management, they care only about the proxy season. The HR are super slow in processing any document. There is no opportunity to grow in ISS, you might stuck forever with your role.

Annual compensation increment is laughable at best
The good thingsWork life balance. Environment if you are lucky with the team you work with.
The challengesThere is no personal development training available within this company. The annual compensation increment is very low compared to what they communicate on townhalls that the company is strong, has a good year etc. Management uses fight or flight approach when dealing with compensation. Either take it or leave it. Benefits is so so.

    Getting worse and worse
The good thingsGood for fresh graduates. Starting your career or familiarizing yourself with the proxy voting services.
The challengesNo opportunities to level up. No trainings to expand your experience in the industry. Repetitive work. Leadership team keeps on acquiring duties and allocates more work to frontliners but will not reward with higher compensation and benefits; just titles. No consideration to workforces pulling in all the work overall.

    Seasonal Custom Research Analyst Experience
The good thingsWorking for the custom research team was fun. The team was laidback but it's important to finish the meetings as fast as possible. The overtime is well compensated and if there are few meetings you can go home early.
The challengesThe hard part wasn't the amount of tasks to do. It was going to work on holidays and one weekend. Once peak season comes, everyone renders overtime. However, you will learn to enjoy it.

    I am growth.
The good thingsI've been with a team with a very friendly and family atmosphere. Proxy seasons might be stressful but they make it light and fun. As per my job, you may be an analyst to other markets and experience several proxy seasons during the year. Still, with a good team everything ends well and smooth.
The challengesYes, every job is routinary it's just that you cannot define anymore the difference in taks between a junior and a senior in this type of set-up. And since it is routinary, personal growth and career growth takes a bit longer.

    Great move for fresh grads.
The good thingsAbove min salary since it's a BPO company. Clean and neat facilities (pantry and comfort rooms). Very accomodating seniors and managers. Your stats are being recorded, every errors and mistakes are monitored so you can keep track of what should you improve and other areas to work on for your reports.
The challengesExpect stress and pressure (extended OT hours and add'l quota workloads) during proxy season which last from January to May.

Work is mentally stimulating and is based on an ethical advocacy of good governance. People and process here are reliable, work-life balance is guaranteed, the environment is very open and flexible
The good thingsAs an analyst, you manage your own time and tasks Benefits package is good and accessible People are open and reliable Location is on point Work is interesting, may seem like a desk job but no, every case is like solving a puzzle
The challengesAverage pay level---tho given the work environment and schedule, youre getting something money cant pay--work life balance It could get really busy during the peak season but it not something you cant adapt to

Great experience! Learned a lot of lessons!
The good thingsThe co-workers, working environment, security system of the company, salary was very competitive, OT's are paid, benefits are great, team managers are very caring and very concern to the members of the team, clean office rooms and desks, computers are fast, trainers for the newcomers of the team is great, challenging tasks, can boost your personality and intelligence quotient in the different tasks that will be given. And most of all, people in the different office departments are all happy!
The challengesRainy days. Because the street of Dela Rosa, Makati is alwyas flooded. Traffic jams in morning and afternoon. That's all.

The company that will definitely stretch what you have to offer!
The good thingsHealthy working environment, culture, its people, and competitive compensation.
The challengesThe main challenge working in the company is during the season, it's the time where analyst are being bombarded with many assigned companies that will definitely require additional hours of work.

    Good and professional working environment
The good thingsThe workload is only quite heavy during the season. Colleagues/seniors are very friendly and approachable. Higher ups have good attitude and compensation is well-distributed/allocated. Flexible working hours and quite a stress-free environment.
The challengesThere's so much room to grow but there's not much opportunity.

    Good Work/Life Balance
The good thingsDue to the seasonal nature of my job, I can plan more vacations and have more time with my family for the rest of the year outside the proxy season. I may be part of a small team, but the company has a comprehensive corporate ladder, in which whenever you excel on your annual evaluation, you'll get a chance to be promoted.
The challengesCompared to other BPO or US-based companies, this company has an average salary rate. Maybe because of the seasonal nature of the job, most employees have little to do outside the proxy season. However, during proxy season, expect for your schedule to be slammed for three to four months.

An excellent experience for fresh graduates with above average compensation
The good thingsGood compensation, flexible in terms of working hours. It's a good career start for fresh graduate, although chances of getting regularize is at minimal.
The challengesYou will render more overtime, but will be compensated. However, you only get your pay once a month.

Job was very boring and and work life balance disappears from March to June. Makes up for it with awesome managers, day shift schedule, and above average compensation for entry-level jobs.
The good thingsManagers were superb and had genuine interest in their subordinates' welfare. Compensation was above average, especially for entry level positions.
The challengesThe job is very boring and uninspiring. Growth opportunities are limited if you don't want to be at the back office for the rest of your professional life.

    Great place to work!
The good thingsISS promotes diversity. You get to work with people with different cultural backgrounds. All employees, from entry level to senior level are all approachable, friendly and has respect with each other. ISS also allow its employees to grow by providing them seminars and certifications.
The challengesProxy/peak season is challenging but work is still manageable.

Great Environment, right mix of casual and professional
The good thingsEnvironment is great. You get to work with a lot of professional people who are not stiff at all. Corporate Governance is a big thing now. It can get somewhat busy on certain months but they know how to keep things fun with events, activities, etc. It also helps that they are lenient with dress code. Managers allow flexibility in schedule!
The challengesIt can be a trap. You need to constantly seek for growth, remind managers that you want to keep progressing or else you might have minimal movement.

    Worthwhile
The good thingsGiven that it is my first job in the corporate world, I found that working at ISS will give the kind of work ethic that you need to develop in order to progress in the professional world. Whether your course is related to business or not, you will surely get a hang of the type of work that ISS does. It's all about corporate governance (you can search Google if you have no idea what this is). The work environment is very friendly. Workload is heavy but manageable. Working here will help you develop perseverance. Overall, the experience is great. Oh and uh one more thing, they have FREE COFFEE.
The challengesI would say that you need to have a good sense of time management is greatly needed for this type of work. Also, be open about your personal problems as the management encourages employees to open up about what's troubling them at home. With regards to career development; however, I would say it is limited given the field in which ISS builds its' business upon.
