    The good thingsI provide support on the production line by performing my assigned tasks and following instructions from my supervisors.
    The challengesI don’t particularly enjoy situations with unclear instructions, but I use them as opportunities to ask questions and improve communication with my team.

    The good thingsThis company has a family like culture and promotes values including Integrity, Collaboration, Accounrability, Respect and Enthusiasm (ICARE). Benefits are at par with the industry if not better.
    The challengesII-VI LASER Enterprise Philippines Inc (LEPI) is a msnufacturing plant of Coherent Corp. (COHR). It started in 2014; the first 5 years is building up, the next 5 is growth. In the next 3 years it is expected to grow 3x driven by the multiple product transfers from US, China and European countries.

    The best about this company is its family like culture, open communication and high level of commitment from all team members. The high level of employee engagement and the drive to excel is evident in its day to day interaction. Will I recommend this company to my friends? Yes, to those who can embrace our values - Integrity, Collaboration, Accountability, Respect and Enthusiam (I CARE).
    The good thingsLEPI started in 2014 and is on its 10th year. The first 5 years is stabilization and the next 5 years is growth. Several product transfers from US, China and Europe in 2024. The next 5 years is growth (at least 3x) driven by a positive Culture of Excellence and high level of Employee Engagement.
    The challengesMultiple product transfers from different parts of the globe, many travels for training, though challenging, is exciting. The company has improved compared to last five years.

    The challengesChallenges I encountered here is that some of the employees lack camaraderie. Most often in the Production Floor, the employees are fighting each other.
