Forget about the stigma, it is all about the work you do
The good thingsThe good things I like about this company is it's very relaxed working environment, their love for work and the people, the love of innovation and creativity, the employee programs including the employee's family, the benefits and generosity of the owner and the love of the company to socially relevant advocacies.
The challengesThe only challenge I could think of is the public's stigma on the motel industry. When people ask where you work and you say \"Victoria Court\" they usually have a negative connotation about the company. But really, it's one of the best companies I have worked for.

    Working for Victoria
The good thingsI enjoyed how the owners gave importance to their employees. The training was extremely helpful for the rest of my career in customer service. Management was very supportive in helping you succeed at your key result areas. I would definitely want to work at Victoria Court again.
The challengesThe challenging part about working at Victoria Court was the customer complaints that a manager encounters during your work shift. Especially during the graveyard shift. Other than that I can see no other challenges in working for this company.

A Purposeful Role in Managing/Leading People
The good thingsThe top management's full support in the continuous development and implementation of programs for the betterment and welfare of the empoyees coupled with a passionate turn-over of new ideas, technology & design - has ensured the trust and loyalty of everyone in the company. My inspired management objectives have proven a motivational tour de force for my entire team.
The challengesAn expansion of more needed facilities and guest rooms should have worked for the company's competitiveness and should have further accelerated the hotel's ranking in all market survey results. The hotel's regular guests as well as the constantly arriving new clientele all clamored for more distinctively designed guest rooms and more of the well-touted excellent guest services they experienced.
