Challenging role with a lot of opportunities to develop and learn new skill sets
The good thingsHitachi Solutions appropriately reward employee who excel and provide significant and impactful contributions toward attaining the company goals and objectives. The management is very supportive of employee development. Open communication is well-encouraged to maintain good and and harmonious working relationship between the manager and direct reports.
The challengesNone so far. The challenges working for Hitachi Solutions is pretty much expected and the same when working with other multinational companies. This mainly revolve around work deliverables especially if one is working on a given project with tight deadline.

The challengesWFH disadvantage In the office it can be easy to ask colleagues for information or updates. You might be in the same room or just a quick walk down the hall away. You don’t have this when you’re working remotely.

Experienced leadership team. Approachable managers. Competitive salary and benefits. Many opportunities for career growth and progression
The good thingsHitachi is overall a great, well-known and established company. They are a big global brand that lives up to its name. Office and work culture is great - you can expect a professional but approachable working environment, a supportive management & leadership team and a company that listens. They really make an effort to get employees' feedback on how they can make Hitachi a better place to work in. They show it through their actions by conducting regular employee surveys and check-ins, then implementing these changes to make things better. An example of this is I've personally experienced the company providing better employee benefits almost every year such as better life/health insurance coverage, implementing a mental health program where every employee can book a session with psychologists or coaches, and even inviting employees to quarterly team buildings, webinars and other unique engagement activities even though we are working virtually. They never forget about employees' well being and they place employee's physical and mental health first. The company also encourages professional and personal growth, by covering the costs of trainings (workshops, seminars, certifications, further studies, etc.), and providing you a free membership to an e-learning website where you can access multiple online courses. You will never have to worry about your performance and career progression as the company conducts performance reviews regularly, and even regular remuneration adjustments. Overall, Hitachi Solutions does a great job of valuing you, your contributions and your well-being. They always make it a point to listen, encourages your feedback and supports your personal & professional growth.
The challengesAs with any other job, there will be the occasional stressors and challenges but I am grateful that Hitachi places your physical & mental health at the very top. They compensate you fairly for your work and the company regularly recognizes your efforts & hard work.

Work hard, Fly high, Sky is the limit. Best projects to practice in the region if you want to be the best
The good thingsWork hard, fly high, sky is the limit. the kind of company allows you to grow and be who you want to be. The kind of company that allows you to live a comfortable life in Asia. Provides the best practice experience and projects for a D365 ERP consultant, projects that are over 1 million $ that are rare in the region are regular here, you may not find easily somewhere else. the experience is a gold mine - work with the best of the best clients in SE asia. Salaries are very competitive depending on your skills, contributions and drive. can match a top notch AU consultant salary in Asia easily while you work near the beach and top touristic destinations in Asia. Highest Health Insurance provided.
The challengesNot for the regular 9-6 guy, deliverables are set each week and management expects to over deliver and under promise. Weekends still with you but occasionally throws go live, data migration tasks which could easily eat it. No retirement fund, Life Insurance. People end up playing multiple roles more than what they have signed up for (which Asia seems to be not so friendly about.) Consultants are expected to know new topics and formal training sometimes are charged against own personal time. The company is thrifty but throws an extravagant yearly once a year - Phuket, Bohol, Misibis Bay, Krabi, Ilocos, you name it.

It is all about the people you work with
The good thingsHigh salary, good benefits, extravagant company outing, but no retirement
The challengesIt is all about the people u work with. You must have a lot of patience, low pride, thick face coz some peeps esp in crm team will test all these characters in you. Also no place for growth because you will never be worthy in ur boss' eyes no matter what.
