It gave an opportunity for my career growth advancement where I started as a Medical Represented and eventually assigned in the Asia Regional Office. I was the first and only employee in HI-Eisai to have a regional post. The management & leadership skills acquired are truly valuable.
The challengesDuring my stint in the region, every year there was an organizational change either a change in the regional configuration or a new head of the Medical & Marketing or Operations Department. But ,it gave me an opportunity to adapt effectively in diversified team and learned the leadership styles from my different bosses.
When the Eisai Asia Regional Head decided to align with the global direction to focus only in two therapeutic areas and eventually my assigned franchise was dissolved. Thus, I need to return to local operation which opted me to resign because I was not able to see any career advancement.
