Balanced and Honest ReviewI’m grateful for the experience it gave me. One of the best parts was working with great colleagues—the teamwork and camaraderie among the staff made daily tasks more enjoyable and created a supportive work environment.
However, there were several areas that made the experience difficult. The company culture involved micromanagement, which limited independence and growth. There were no clear opportunities for career development or advancement, and the systems and tools in place were outdated, making work less efficient and the company less competitive overall.
Compensation was another concern. The base salary was quite low, and instead of a proper service charge system, we received “incentives” that were minimal, delayed, and lacked transparency. There were no clear KPIs or performance benchmarks tied to them, leaving employees uncertain about how performance was evaluated.
Work-life balance was also challenging. Even during holidays, staff—especially those with positions—were expected to report to the office. Vacation and emergency leaves were inconsistent and often depended on the personal discretion or mood of management.
While I value the experience and the people I worked with, I believe there are important areas that need improvement for the long-term well-being and motivation of employees.
