Great people with great vision of success!
The good thingsWorked with great and experienced colleagues who will assist and cheered you up. HFH has a great working environment located in a strategic business district of Makati City. The organization has a standard operating procedure in every aspect of actions by the employees. There is a great sets of training which the candidate must take during his/her first day of work. The good thing is that, you will have a greater chance to develop more as its committed to its mission and vision of A world where everyone has a decent place to live. Seeking to put God's love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities and hope.
The challengesIn my first day of work as an intern, I was quite like a nervous guy because I never had a job experience in the past. My colleagues at the office assisted me in several occasions. One of the challenges there is the fact that it is a multi-national office setting where you will be working with people of different race, culture and languages (although English is the official language in the office) which I eventually overcome since I can adapt in every environment settings. Also, I used to have a bad work ethics which is tardiness and thanks to Habitat's strict rules on it while at the same time, caring for its people, I eventually overcome and stopped such bad habits.

    enriching experience
The good thingsThe period I worked with HFHI is theost enriching experience in my career. I was able to work with fellow Christians and have great impact in providing assistance to people build and improve their house.
The challengesI am assigned in Asia pacific and language sometimes become a challenge.there is not much to change in yes of operation but being able to touch base longer in the community could helpore understand their individual challenges and come up with relevant support.

    Fruitfull work experience
The good thingsI become more people centric and being field work meeting new people. It helps me aware of the people in need. The employer was nice we bonded well as colleagues during Saturdays when we have to build houses to different partner communities.
The challengesPrograms should be properly monitored and have a good study before implementing it. They should put proper people who are well experience on the field. Hope they have positions that are on regular basis
