    Great Learning Experience!
The good thingsThe trust that the co-teachers give you is really nice i was allowed to handle a class of my own, even though just as a substitute teacher. The faculty room / office area is nice and conducive for working and my colleagues were very welcoming. Work isn't as difficult as it seems, and the best part is getting advice from the senior faculty members. The experience was worth it.
The challengesNone. If any, it's just traffic getting into Katipunan, most especially inside Ateneo.

It's relatively good and rewarding (in terms of experience) for a starting job.
The good thingsThe office staff were really kind and they are also patient with you. You are working with other staff members, but on a good day you could meet benefactors, or international university presidents. I worked in the office of International Relations (OIR) so I constantly met international individuals. This helped me to be more sensitive about other cultures and how to treat them.
The challengesThe challenge is really learning the processes of the school or your specific department (enrollment, registration, etc.), but your boss and the staff will patiently help you. If you come from Ateneo then the processes are no problem since you will already be familiar. Other than that, all offices have half-day work on Saturdays. So if you're a freshgrad who likes to go out on Friday, just know that there's work the next day.

The environment was very welcoming, i felt at home in a snap and it was very comforting and people were always ready to help out in any way they can. I saw people really living out their motto of being a man/woman for others especially during times of typ
The good thingsThe work was very well planned out and our superiors were always there to guide us every step of the way. The necessary outputs were just enough and well manageable even if i was studying for my masters degree. The training that was undertaken was very helpful and contributed much for my future career. Presentation in conferences also helped me in my technical and communication skills.
The challengesWe are always encouraged to do our best in every report and experiment, as well as exhibit/conference presentations. There were times that extended hours on the lab was undertaken but we were never alone, our superiors are still there to guide us and lab mates were also there helping each other out to obtain the necessary outputs for the presentation. Everyone are welcoming even the admin assistants.

    Professional and Caring Environment
The good thingsThe benefits, salary, and working conditions are good enough to empower employees to be at their best. The school also supports the personal matters and financial concerns of their employees.
The challengesCertain office room politics are present. Just try avoiding these kind of problems and people will do fine.

If you love teaching young students, apply here.
The good thingsWorking at the Ateneo High School was fun. Having it was my first professional and full time job was worth it, and am grateful to God I have had the experience of working with bright and innovative teachers, and enthusiastic (some were not, but interesting in a different way) students. It is also an educational institution with relatively more liberal mindset.
The challengesAs in most professions where engagement with clients is a must, being a teacher at the Ateneo de Manila High School also provides a great deal of opportunity to meet people - sometimes interesting and encouraging, sometimes disappointing due to (very few) unreasonably demanding parents or (some) hard-to-deal-with colleagues. But hey! that's how you mature. Just enjoy and learn from experience.

Good working environment, but hard to secure tenureship
The good thingsPeople are a joy to work with in the Psych dept. People are really intelligent and friendly. You also get a chance to know the undergrads as well as the graduate students which is always nice. You will also get a lot of free food due to the various events that the school holds. As I've said, the work environment is really great and great to work in.
The challengesThe issue really with working in the academe is that there really isn't a lot of chances for career growth. You can either be a research assistant which is fairly deadend until you become a project manager. Problem with this is that research projects are contractual and you don't really have job security. Becoming full time faculty also requires a PhD which is hard enough to get.

    Working with the blue eagles...
The good things1. Everyone in the institution is like family. They support one another. 2. They have a very good mentoring program for their new teachers. 3. They support their employees if they want to pursue further studies. 4. There is a lot of room for professional growth. 5. The school has organised and efficient systems in place so getting documents and letters is very easy.
The challenges1. The pay could be a little bit higher. 2. As with any institution, there are going to be people that are very hard to work with. 3. There are times that weekends are taken for academic activities, but not too often.

Ateneo de Manila my work review
The good thingsI will work last 2011 at the Ateneo de Manila University as a Custodian. This is the job that I never forget because all of my office mates even my partner are very hardworking, kind, helpful and very friendly thats why I love this work experience. My salary will get weekly and half of my salary will be given to my parents to support them for their due's and everday needs.
The challengesMy challenges will be communicate to the higher class students and to serve us what their needs. And to be follow the rules and commands given by the university. All of the work will be seriously done and your good and higher performance will be expected to this work.

    Formation Program
The good thingsThe formation program of this institution is excellent. It is holistic and integral since it covers from personal, community and the spiritual life of all -- from management level to staff level and even the students. This program did not only help me professionally but greatly helped me become an integrated person.
The challengesThe basic challenge that confronts us, that includes me, is on how to sustain the high level of participation of all university constituents since we have already reached almost an excellent evaluation from our participants through the internal survey and audit that we do in each of our activities.

The good thingsThe very awesome experience here was, how to be kid again not, literal the kid who were needed a happiness in a simple way, as always. Being here was a great job, coz'honestly speaking being together with these awesome kids, I learned that being a Kid is such a wonderful gift ever.
The challengesI still remember that there was a moment that I had a student came from Grade 2, almost he was absent for 3 days if Im not mistaken, all I ever thought If there were something wrong with the food that he eaten. Becoming a Nutritionist is not as easy as many other thought, Coz'if there were something's happen with the kid Im responsible for those kids. So, I thank God, coz he got Ill and cold.

    My First Job Experience
The good thingsWhat I enjoyed about working here was that first when it comes to my workmates, I didn't find it hard adjusting because in the office where I work now, I was a Student Assistant before when I was a college. In a way, I knew it already the ins and outs here. Also, Ateneo provided us seminar and workshops that will help us be a better person for others and help build our attitude towards work.
The challengesAt first, I find it difficult doing some reports but then asking a help from someone who knew about it already especially my immediate superior then it makes the work lighter. So far, I am now used to my responsibilities that's is why I am able to face the challenges with good attitude. I know that challenges are always there but It can be face with good disposition.

    Healthy surroundings, good people
The good thingsAteneo is a good place to work if you are interested more in quality of life and personal growth over earning large amounts of money and climbing the corporate ladder. In my personal experience, what makes me stay in this institution is its healthy working environment (trees, low buildings, open spaces) and its decent, dedicated workforce, most of whom share the insitution's solid values.
The challengesCareer growth for non-teaching employees here tends to be limited, although there are cases where one rises from being a staff member to an administrator, or even a faculty member. However, since many people stay for many years, there are many opportunities to get to know many aspects of the job and cultivate different skills.
