    "a life turning point"
The good thingsWorking with a team of talented and motivated people. Google is home to some of the brightest minds in the world, and advocates have the opportunity to collaborate with these individuals on a daily basis. This can be a great opportunity to learn and grow as a professional. Having a global impact. Google's products and services are used by billions of people around the world, so advocates have the opportunity to make a difference on a global scale. This can be a very fulfilling experience.
The challengesNot seeing the results of your work immediately. It can take time to see the results of advocacy work. This can be frustrating for advocates who are eager to see their efforts make a difference.

Good place to work, good stepping stone for aspiring data analysts
The good thingsWork-life balance is very much prioritized. Chill work pace.
The challengesNot enough room for career growth. It's a subsidiary of Google, not exactly Google. Do not expect highly.

Good for your CV, but not worth staying
The good thingsHMO is great Having "Google" in your CV adds value, so it's good but not worth staying if you're looking for growth.
The challenges- Little to no career growth. If they ask you to function as an SME, make sure to ask how long the 'stretch' role will be and if theres even a chance to get promoted. - In comparison to other similar job roles, salary is waaay below market value. - Toxic management, too much politics. - Incompetent leads, no people management skills. - Training is insufficient, newbies would be better off be put on prod already. - Lots of manual work: timekeeping, trackers for trackers, forms.

Google Operations Center, an awesome place!
The good thingsWe have free food through out the day, that is light snack before breakfast, breakfast, lunch afternoon snacks and dinner buffet style. There are also cereals and snacks in the micro pantry.
The challengesIt is challenging in general as the company just started on 2019.

    Super Toxic Environment
The good thingsNothing. Training is poor, people are toxic, and politics is rampant. High expectations but poor people management. Don't waste your time applying here.
The challengesTraining, people management. People are getting promoted even if they don't deserve it, far from what I heard about how good this company is.

Poor Training Management, High Expectation with Poor Support System
    The good thingsSalary, HMO, allowances
The challengesThe work here is so stressful. the management's expectation is that you make no mistake, regardless if your on ops or training. However, they lack of support and there is office politics where those who wants promotion will always say something behind your back reporting to the higher ops. Not a good working environment.

Proximity to Google is great, but not enough to make you stay
The good thingsSmart colleagues, and opportunities allowing you direct collaboration with Googlers. Appreciate the focus on wellness and topnotch perks/benefits, which can be hard to come by in the country.
The challengesPoor, misdirected management. Leaders go as far as micromanaging just to show that "management" is being done. But it's really alienating. People who go the extra mile get little to no recognition. Some ideas are snubbed and leadership asks for feedback, only to dismiss you with an explanation or else agree to take it on without followthrough. Environment is agile but often messy. Decisionmaking is slow, so sometimes you have to approach tasks in a disorderly way.

    Great benefits, poor management
The good thingsHMO, benefits, coworkers, free courses, free meals
The challengesTraining was a mess, poor management (no visibility), and leaders just delegate tasks (no empathy to team). Politics rampant, people who deserve recognition don't receive it. Very stressful to work here!

Way back in google I am a web developer that develops a website that can contribute the team also the attainment goal of the company.
The good thingsAll of us working together that`s why our team has a solid foundation of fundamentals but also to develop our skills.
The challengesSometimes it`s hard for me to came up with the project so that I ask my senior developer to help in order to finish it. Because not all the time you can do it on your own. You need to work as a team.

This is the company I've always wanted to be a part of.
The good things1000 Free Trainings in Coursera Free meals (pre-pandemic) Work from home support (post-pandemic) Great leadership team Smart and talented coworkers
The challengesThe demands of the job are tough. Sometimes I'm given tasks that are not on the usual plate of a reports analyst, but these are good opportunities to grow out of your role. You need to learn how to manage the expectations of your stakeholders. The facilities in Net Lima could be improved. There's no arcade, no place to play ping pong. There needs to be a shower located outside the main operations area so that people who bike to work can sanitize and freshen up before entering the ops area.

Yes its Google, but not Googler employee per say
The good thingsHigh Paid and high market value to your portfolio
The challengesWhen you work for Google, your best is expected, but your best is not best for them. Many lapses training wise, migration of task in unbelievable. Full of politics inside, they are not open book. You are a little voice that will not be heard. Stressful to work with people here at GOC.
