Long Term, Career Development. Thank you and hoping to be accepted again when I finish masters
The good thingsStraightforward approach. Communication with leaders and admins was easy. They were very helpful and kind. Salary started increasing from around 1 year even when I was a part timer.
The challengesRequires native academic English skills including accent. Not for casual or conversation level English speakers. It is hard to compete with other teachers who are professors of schools in ph and abroad. Penalties are harsh so it's not for anyone with attendance and compliance problems.

The lessons were pretty easy but
The good thingsThe students were mostly okay and were easy to teach. Their lesson materials were on hand, so there's no need for a lot of lesson planning. The management, especially the education leaders, was approachable.
The challengesVery low salary and no chance for career growth. I wanted to stay longer; however, the pay was too low, and it's not worth staying with if there are better opportunities out there.

This COMPANY helped me a lot as well as my career development. Thank you very much, GLOBAL EPI.
The good thingsWork and life balance. You can have your weekends free in this company. Also, they give chances to newbies/ No experience but are willing to be trained teachers. They are so kind.
The challengesYou just have to improve and do multitasking because of the reports, but that's just normal to every ESL company.

Apply at your own riskThe recruitment process was super vague. Imagine having a native American accent, and they still fail you at the "Speaking" assessment segment of the application.

They value the tenured teachers. Loyalty is very important to this company.Teachers
The good thingsThere are perks when you become a tenured teacher. Year-end awards are given. You won't feel the rewards yet, if you just work for a year. You have to work longer before you reap the benefits just like in other companies.
The challengesOne has to multitask in order to finish the given tasks. Tasks keep on coming even when you have not finished the first task given. Sometimes one has to work beyond the work hours just to meet the deadline.

A very good company to grow with
The good thingsThe Management is considerate when it comes to emergency crisis. Health care assistance is provided during the enhanced community quarantine. Training is provided to further improve teachers' English and class handling skills.
The challengesPerfect attendance is a must, but if you have a valid reason, especially when you are sick and is able to present a medical certificate, the penalty is waived. Although there are many classes, if you sum up the total number of work hours, a teacher only has classes for 6 hours. The break in between classes is spent doing reports.

This is good for long term employment.
The good thingsIt was overall a good company but not to those who want a short term employment only. I saw some higher ups who were former teachers.
The challengesTerms are not pleasant to job hoppers. I meant to stay for less than six months and the terms were just average. It was better after almost a year.

It can get stressful but the team leaders and manager are helpful.
The good thingsEmployees can explore different departments depending on their skill and willingness to handle tasks.
The challengesMany classes. Teachers with poor attendance get penalties but others seem to take this agains the office. The work culture is very unique so it can get stressful.

Working in Global EPI is a good but their attendance terms are very unfair to the employees
The good thingsI enjoy the flexible schedule that they give to their employees however the management system is very poor and tends to be very unfair to their teachers who work for them. Some teachers tend to resign because of this. Their out of town/ team bonding and christmas party and not very well funded.
The challengesThe management and some other teachers weren't professional enough to handle difficult situations when they arise. A lot of people here are very unprofessional when it comes to work ethics and rules and regulations. The management is very inconsistent in implementing rules when it comes to tenure and new teachers. The attendance rules are very un fair on the side of the teachers.

Teaching English is very fun and interesting but it depends upon the teacher.
The good thingsWorking environment is very pleasant as well as the co-teachers, the students, and the team leaders are vey polite and approachable. We have adorable and fun students who are more than willing to learn the language and most of them are very friendly.
The challengesOur ultimate challenge in working here is none other than the elevator. My God! Everything is almost good but the building's elevators are legend.
