A Company That Truly Values Its PeopleI’m currently employed here and have been with the company for two years. My experience with the recruitment process was excellent—the recruiters were highly professional and guided me smoothly through every step. The company culture is supportive, and we truly value work-life balance, which makes it a great place to grow both personally and professionally.

Colleagues were collaborative and willing to share knowledge, which helped me learn and grow faster. I also appreciated the company’s emphasis on work-life balance and the flexibility it provided when needed. The training sessions and learning resources were well-structured, giving me opportunities to improve my skills."
The challengesOverall, I had a positive experience.

Work-life balance, day shift and fair to their employees.
The good thingsWork life balance. They understand that their employees life is not just about work. They respect personal time and practice work life balance.
The challengesWork-life balance is a priority. They recognize that employees have lives beyond work, respect personal time, and actively promote a healthy balance between professional and personal commitments.

The worst company I've ever been, proceed with caution.
The good thingsI appreciated how seamless and well-organized the interview and hiring process was.
The challenges • Poor onboarding process; expected to go live by the second week with minimal training • Extremely high workloads—often 300–500% of a typical workload per employee • Leadership, including the CEO, uses intimidation and demoralizing language toward teams • Toxic culture tolerated by leadership.

I had a seamless and positive hiring experience managed by Ren, who demonstrated exceptional communication, organization, and genuine interest in my candidacy.
The good thingsI recently went through a hiring process managed by Ren, and it was incredibly smooth and hands-on. Ren's communication was clear and timely, keeping me informed every step of the way. The interviews were well-coordinated. Overall, my experience with Ren's hiring process was overwhelmingly positive.
The challengesSo far I have not faced any challenges yet.

All the negative comments are true. This is a company where you’ll always need to look out for yourself, as you can never be sure when you might be the next to be let go. Also, make sure to carefully review your contract—they’ll never specify that you’ll be paid on an hourly basis, even if your salary is higher. There’s also no allowance provided.
The good thingsIt’s all a waste of time and effort. No matter how skilled you are, if the client doesn’t like it, it’s game over.
The challengesThe building is quite old, and the restrooms date back to the 70s with no proper renovations since. The equipment is all second-hand, sourced from HMR, including laptops, tables, and chairs.

    Unpleasant.
The good thingsLovely office, cubicles quiet and spacious. Free rice. The foreigner clients and foreigner bosses are nice to employees.
The challengesToxic workplace because the top management either tolerates their local COO or not aware that the COO treats employees badly. There is no way to make the management realize how bad the workplace is because the COO only reports good things about herself to the CEO, sanitizes the exit interview, and prevents employee feedback. Every time an employee criticizes the local management, he is fired from his job. There is no job security. No learning development or training provided by the company itself. No career growth opportunities.

If you are used to companies without job security this is for you.
The good thingsFree stuff. Work-life balance depends on your client. Even if everything depends on your client fp will somehow try to push their policy to go against your client which will help shorten your career time.
The challengesThe challenges vary from making yourself relevant as to not get removed from your position/ client. No growth no training. NO JOB security. they kick you out, no detailed explanations given, even if you are a regular employee.

They treat you like a person, not an employee
The good thingsFlat Planet is an extremely fast-growing company and a wonderful place to work! The CEO truly cares about each individual, welcomes creativity, and leads by example. They treat you like a person, not an employee. That's reflected in the benefits and how management approaches employees, no yelling and screaming about challenges, just collaboration and ideas. The office environment is very fun, and expansive.
The challengesIt is a very challenging company due to the pace and ingenuity around every corner, which is awesome. If you apply yourself, you'll go somewhere. Yes, office politics exist, but generally, it's a meritocracy

    Politics in Work Environment
The good thingsSince I was offered Work From Home, it made the job easier, and yet I found the people very friendly even when we've only worked virtually.
The challengesThe management in the account are inexperienced and very rarely listen to feedbacks. They will only act on it when it's too late, which I can compare to the current PH government.

    Working with FlatPlanet
The good thingsPeople are frank and open, the hiring process is fast but still depends on their clients. They did not even renegotiated with my asking salary. Work schedule depends also on their client in Australia. I was able to work with an Australian company with schedule of 6am-3pm daily. They don't like that you are extending time. For Christmas season, the boss gave gifts even if you are non-regular.
The challengesDemanding clients because of difference in culture. Even small issues are being reported immediately to upper management. Different holidays from the Philippines.
