Research department intern - Unfriendly environment
The good thingsI am looking forward to going home.
The challengesUnfriendly environment. Doesn't guide their interns about the tasks - they just gave a bunch of tasks to research to self study. As mentioned you'll most likely just self study and not be taught. Just go to a different department or better company to intern to teach you basic finance and research

    Research Department Intern
The good thingsNone that I can think of
The challengesThere was no significant learning and guidance from my supervisor. Everyone is so busy and occupied that they don't have time to entertain any of the interns questions. All of the tasks I performed in the department is just self-learned and they don't even take the time to teach their interns.

The best corporate experience I had - and it was my first job
The good thingsEvery department works hand in hand to get the job done. All managers are qualified to do their job and the corporate structure compliments how they best serve every client. It's a type of company where you can basically find any help within the organization.
The challengesEveryday is a challenge because working for an investment bank such as the largest one - we take pride in making any significant deals that our economy is taking. We take pride in the fact that we make sure that all activities done in and out of the office - we deliver ethical and well thought practice both in business and finance.

    not sustainable growth
    The good thingstraining budget high
The challengesHigh income makes them complacent. Metrobank practices put a cap on opportunities for global competitiveness. Run still as a family business.
