Good but not healthy.
The good thingsYou can learn how to multi task and handle challenging situations. You can learn how to do your task with minimal supervision on coz most of the time you have to do it on your own.
The challengesYou get to encounter toxic people and company has minimal benefits and incentives. Sometimes you feel you are not valued and appreciated. The salary package is not appropriate for the workload.

And they should study the succession planning, employee is not promoted due to his/her year of service but it should be since on how he interacted to its people and the knowledge he have. Putting a wrong person for the job means dissaster.
