Gives family-run businesses a bad rapThe good thingsMy immediate superior, the president/COO was a good mentor. There was a good attempt at building a good company culture, but (see challenges)
The challengesThe management structure, albeit flat, is too executive-centric. Employee input is not given enough value. Employees are subject to 'management' by the owners' parents, who have no knowledge of labor rules and employee rights, and wh tend toward unprofessional and bigoted/biased treatment of employees. There is no track for career growth, and management is not transparent. Terrible pay rates.
