    Work at your own risk
The good thingsDuring my time, I got along really well with my colleagues. Most students are eager to learn. There's also a pantry in The Study Podium with microwave, free water and printer.
The challengesThe management don't know how to treat their employees well. If they know you're excellent in your job, they will assign you other tasks beyond your job description. You can be assigned to teach, to man the front desk, open the center, and so on. They want tasks to be submitted immediately even if they have just given it minutes ago. There's no system and no quality in education. All they care about is the business side. Schedules can change a number of times within the day. You can be dragged to any class without preparation. To earn more, you need to render more hours. They don't give benefits to teachers. They are also hesistant to hire teachers as their regular employees. Most are given open contract, especially if you're not a native speaker or even native looking. There's no evaluation of teachers and there's no basis in retaining some teachers. They don't give what you deserve based on your credentials and qualifications. There's a lot more to improve, however, the higher ups are not open to change anything. That's why people come and go. From my experience, all were disappointed with the school because it's simply a name.

    Fun in Teaching and Learning
The good thingsI've had many jobs in the last many years on the road but the one that I could always rely on was ESL (English as a Second Language) teacher. I enjoyed meeting new people of varying ages with diverse culture. This would mean sharing your expertise at the same time taking a reward by learning from your students. I take great satisfaction in the fact that I was successful in helping even the weakest students to speak English and dramatically improve the level of many of those I taught. My success in teaching English is a huge part of who I am. All of these happened because of Enderun.
The challengesThere are my challenges working as an ESL teacher. As a teacher, you must learn to constantly adapt to your students' needs. Many times, this means dealing with a variety of problems in the classroom, many of which are all too common occurrences. With a very supportive working environment like Enderun, everything became an opportunity for learning and growing. I hope Enderun will give better opportunities for ESL teachers in the future to take on a permanent position in the company.

    An Awesome Place to Work
The good thingsI don't know where to start. First, the working environment. This place is just amazing to work in. You get to teach in a five star like environment. Second, the people. The people in the ESL department are the best there is. People work together really well. Third, the facilities. Seriously awesome place. There are 2 canteens and a coffee shop at the lobby. Employees get discounts.
The challengesIt is really up to you and how you handle your job. If you don't rush your work or do them last minute style, there is really no stress here. The main challenge is that they don't really offer a full time position for ESL instructors. Mostly contractual or part time. You get paid by the hour. So if there are no students. No pay..
