Great environment to gain experience and new skillsThe good thingsDN Steel provides good working experience especially if you start as a fresh graduate since it will teach you how to handle responsibilities under pressure and time constraints. It will test your grit and resilience esp. if you're part of operations (I was in accounting dept.). Your skills are aligned with the role given and there are opportunities to learn more once you're given relief or cross training assignments. If you're looking for a good training ground to widen your skill set, then DN Steel is the place for you.
The challengesThe workload is quite a challenge, since there were times when I felt that there's too much on my plate already. Work is not from Monday to Friday only, there will be Sundays when you have to do overtime work during FS preparation. Sadly, if you are in a rank and file position, there will be no trainings provided to expand your knowledge and skills.
Lastly, the company culture silently conveys that you always do overtime work (even if you don't have to), take less SL/VL and you can feel a competitive spirit among your peers (sometimes even talking behind each other's backs, which is unhealthy after all).
