    Provides good training
The good thingsThe company provides opportunities for its employees to grow. If you are an intern or an entry-level employee, this company will provide a good training ground for you. You will be assigned real tasks and there is also an opportunity for you to join a team under client services. Starting as an intern, this gave me a commercial exposure. Your co-workers will treat you like family, and mentor you in your career.
The challengesChallenge would be adjusting from time to time, may it be about your tasks, team/team members, work schedule, or client expectations. This gives employees a learning experience on how to work under pressure and how to handle multiple tasks or projects. As it is common to most companies, one must be flexible enough to handle constant changes at work.

As long as upper management keeps up their Work-life-balance strategies, then I can't think of a better company to work for.
The good thingsListing the "good things" would take too long, so I'm just gonna summarize it in one key and important phrase: "work life balance". I realize this could mean a lot of things, but think (or research) for anything regarding "work life balance". You will be hard-pressed to find a definition that DSS does not have a good version of.
The challengesThey had a monthly gathering where you are obliged to attend and it was outside of office hours. Emphasis on the word "had" since they no longer hold such gatherings monthly. They do it on a quarterly basis now which is a bit more tolerable. It's not fun to go home late when your commute is 1 and a half hours (sometimes 2 hours) of waiting for jeepneys and buses.

A company that values the growth of its employees
The good thingsMy career with DSS has been full of knowledge and learnings. Ever since I started working for this company, I have been given the opportunity to engage myself in virtual assistance and marketing, and even diving in to the world of software development and project management. The management encourages open communication and value their employees' opinion, especially when it comes to career plans and career growth. The office environment is also very friendly and work-life balance is very much promoted.
The challengesConstantly keeping up with new technological knowledge to which I always consider as new learning experience.

    A Start up that works!
The good thingsThe company is trying hard to grow the organization in such a way that the people achieves growth internally and externally. Being able to experience multiple tasks needed by multiple departments and clients, this has shown that wearing different hats can be sometimes stressful but rewarding specially when you are appreciated with your efforts.
The challengesExperiencing birth pains but is normal for a start up company.

    Great company culture!
The good thingsSupportive management. They will give you time to discuss things you want to express either for the company's improvement of your own plans of career growth within the company. Lax working environment. You have the freedom to work in your strategy and if you are not sure with some matters, people are very willing to help.
The challengesProbably in using more softwares that is more in to analytics - that can present viable data that would help determine the struggles and how can it help to create a working solution. And more on automation of reports.

You will be valued in this company.
The good thingsI love the working environment because all of my colleagues are very approachable and they treat everyone like family. They promote work life balance and give importance to the ideas/opinions of employees. I also like the fact that the company allows us to discover and upgrade our skills, and not be stuck with what we have. They want us to progress which is an important factor for me.
The challengesWe're in a fast-paced type of company, so you have to keep up.

They offer you the biggest room, for career growth
The good thingsBeing with the company, I have mastered grit, to persevere not just with the challenges but also in learning new things. As iron sharpens iron, training and mentorship are valued here. The management is supportive of my career path and has always shown trust in my potential. There are opportunities such as career-oriented training to help employees be equipped and efficient in their roles.
The challengesThe challenge I faced is common to all. This is to be adaptive to change. I believe that it is not the best and the brightest who survive but those who are most adaptable to change.

There's always an opportunity to learn!
The good thingsThere are many opportunities and challenges since I started with DSS. From being an analyst, I was exposed to different projects and clients; then I explored Software Delivery as project support. I learned a lot through training, mentoring, and actual practice. Management is also supportive to my career plan. We have open communication and they trusted me with my potential. Workplace and colleagues are also friendly and accomodating; each one is contributing to our common goal: to provide direct results and innovative solutions to our clients.
The challengesThe challenge that you will constantly face in DSS is "how to improve yoursef"? Clearly, there are problems and workload for every project and client. But these will push us to adjust and improve to provide your best output!

    Internship
The good thingsSeniors will really treat you well and assist you with the work and always there if you have questions since I was new with the type of work. Encourages you and pushes you to do better everyday and won't let you lose hope about getting your quota. The office environment will make you look forward to Mondays every week. And the employees will really become your own friends.
The challengesThe office location was quite far from my place, and that was the real challenge for me. And the type of work, I was new to that approach.
