    Company full of gaslighting
The good thingsGood pay compared to the salary received from local design company, but low when you compare it to working freelance. You can used Adobe stocks but you have to pay for it, not shouldered by the company.
The challengesYou'll be handling more than 10 clients, you'll be given maximum of 1 hr per request. Every error is recorded, there's a cutoff and you can't work beyond your shift, it'll affect your "grades". They focus more on client retention and they do not care about their designers' mental health.

    Remote work plus competitive compensation
The good thingsAside from the remote work and good compensation, everyone are really friendly. Even if we don't see each other often and just interacting online when we finally meet via gatherings, we just click! There's also a sense of community within the team and everyone's opinion matters.
The challengesIt will really push you to be very well versed on the 3 different adobe software, but with the help of the team, you'll come out better than before.

    Remotely diverse with awesome compensation
The good thingsOther than that we work remotely and the competitive compensation, we get to work well together despite the diversity. Our opinions and suggestions are being heard by the management and the core value of friendly and truth remained a priority.
The challengesAt first it was very challenging for me since it's a new setup. We need to be very well rounded graphic designer in terms of skills using Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop. Really happy that our team were able to help us adjust and helps us to push more and be awesome designers.

Hard to look for any job better than this!
The good thingsWorking from home has never been one of my goals in the past because I don't know any stable jobs offering this kind of setup. Until my friend introduced Design Pickle to me years ago, I was hesitant, but when I met my teammates, even the ones outside the Philippines, I know I have to be here. I can't find any opportunity that gives you this kind of camaraderie, teamwork, and positivity in addition to the stability and the growth mindset that it elicits. As for the pay, we all have different needs but for me, it's a privilege to be able to travel the world while earning.
The challengesAs a designer, it was very hard at first to adapt to the fast-paced environment, but after a few weeks, I got the hang of it. Seeing how Design Pickle grew over the years, it has improved a lot in terms of personnel management, and looking forward to more improvements in that aspect.

They really commit to the clients and designers
The good thingsAs a graphic designer I had opportunities to learn, improve and also work with clients all over the world. There are constantly opening new positions and overall people are super nice in there. I love tha fact that you get a lot of help from almost anyone in the company, specially from your team.
The challengesWhen I started working at DP, it really was stressful and a bit difficult TBH, because of the learning curve and speed you have to master, but later on, once I got accustomed to it I did great. What I don't really like is the way they assign requests or "tickets" as we call them, I think the people who review those should do a better job but also the attention from the managers is mostly towards the clients and not for the designers. My team leader is very good, but my manager isn't. Other than that it's a good place to work.

    Best place to work
The good thingsDP is the perfect workplace where you're compensated well at the comfort of your own home. The people behind it/your workmates are also talent-filled and are awesome to hang out with. You certainly won't regret your time spent here.
The challengesThe work environment can be demanding and stressful, like all jobs, if you're not prepared to handle it. I simply needed a break by finding better ways to manage my own stress, but I would definitely come back if given a chance.
