Working as an administrative aide at DENR has been a meaningful experience that strengthened skills.
The good thingsYou get to support programs that protect the environment, natural resources, and communities. It feels good knowing your work contributes to a bigger purpose.
The challengesAdministrative work often involves large volumes of reports, forms, and records that must be accurate and submitted on time. Adjusting to new memoranda, guidelines, or systems can take time.

My On-the-Job Training at DENR PAMO-TVPL was a transformative experience that equipped me with a diverse set of skills and knowledge, laying a strong foundation for my future career.
The good thingsThe experience has been highly beneficial for my personal and professional development. I gained proficiency in documentation and record-keeping, learning the importance of meticulous attention to detail in maintaining accurate records.
The challengesOne of the most significant issues was the discomfort caused by the heat. The summer season exacerbated this problem, bringing extremely high temperatures that made it difficult to work efficiently and comfortably.

As a whole, working with DENR was a privilege and the opportunity for me to reach my full potentials as an administrative professional and in return shared my knowledge and expertise to others for a healthy and working relationship in the organization.
The good thingsWorking with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources gave me the opportunity to achieve my personal and career aspirations, and shared my work knowledge and experiences to others and to the whole organization as well. And I had a healthy working relationship with my supervisors and peers.
The challengesLack of communication. Employees could not express openly their ideas for fear of rejection or their ideas are not valued by the management. This could hinder the realization of the organization's proper reporting and feedbacking and flow of communication.

It's my first work in my life, It's so challenging such as facing a battle without ending, worth it that I developed more of my skills and experience some ideas and stuffs, and make a way to accomplish your work due to the deadline.
The good thingsThey are unity in working, brainstorming, and easily to ask something that you wouldn't understand in the work. Also, the Head is best in advice not just in the work, but in your life too.
The challengesTime schedule of your leisure vs. Work.

It is really a great stepping stone to improve my communication skills and to interact with other people. A great experience to showcase my skills.
The good thingsEnvironment, the people and the workplace. My superiors are very hardworking and I see that they are really dedicated to their work so that's why I looked up to them and they one of the reason why I develop all of my skills as well as my personality.
The challengesThe challenges are the environment, on how you will cope up to the work habits and how you will get along with the people around yourself and how you will work under pressure. Another challenges would be how you will finish uour overload work over time.

    Assisting Professional for Community Organizing
The good thingsI was exposed to new kind of concepts and learnings including methodologies in the environmental and community and organizational baselining/profiling including monitoring and evaluation and the approaches in resiliency to climate change and disaster risk mitigation
The challengesMy terms of contract was not strictly followed especially in the scope of my works, there are no allowance given during official travels and extension of work without pay. There are also no fringe benefits most especially hazard pay and insurance since field work is very risky due to inaccessibility of most of the project sites

The good thingsLax rules, but you have to be professional about it Kid, PWD, and mother-friendly Plenty of opportunities to learn Chances to do field work Superiors are supportive
The challengesNeeds to improve physical working environment Some co-workers are unappreciative (but you encounter this everywhere) You don't get easily promoted in terms of position and salary, even if your responsibility increases.
