Stay away, just look for any startup you can hone your skills.

The challengesTimetracker based Low salary 2.5 years before promotion Joke time admin No phones allowed (super strict for "security measures") No technical upskills (you'll be stucked with excel) Overtime culture Overworked but underpaid 8.75H per day minimum and many more!

Working with DTPH as a Software Engineer(Tester/QA)
The good thingsI had a very good experience working with DTPH, I had the opportunity to work within various teams in the Powertrain department, starting as a Jr. Software Engineer and eventually advancing to the role of Jr. Supervisor. Great people, supportive teammates, opportunities to learn(free Udemy, other certifications), and even had the privilege to work in Japan.
The challengesThere may be moments when you find yourself doubting the potential for career advancement due technological advances. However, if you're pursuing a career in embedded systems, having a growth mindset is needed. High chances that you work overtime but keribels ko lang because I love what I am doing haha. Stress in work sometimes but you need to learn how to destress(lakarin mo yung buong floor, makipagusap ka sa mababait na guard ahaha, hinga then back to work :)).

The challengesWork is challenging specially in speaking in Japanese, reading kanji and learning the Japanese Language

The challenges1. The tech tools you will use for work is too deprecated. 2. You will not learn about the latest tools and methodology in IT Industry

Good for fresh graduates but not recommended for breadwinners.
The good thingsNihongo training, Basics in C Programming, Matlab and Embedded Systems in the first 6 months as an employee (classroom type of training). Treatment between associates are good since they are young. Benefits are also good and satisfying. The best thing for me is the "2-week vacation" of all associates in every end of December to first week of January.
The challengesThere is a 2-year bond after the 6 months training. Japanese culture. Salary is low considering the high demand of quality and productivity of every project. "OT" is always a must. If you are looking for opportunities in Software Development, this is not for you. This company is more on Software Quality Assurance.

Its a good start for me. But if you are seeking for career as a Developer, this is not for you.
The good thingsThey have nihongo training. Working environment are good since your coworkers are mostly young.
The challengesJapanese work culture. Most of the times, you need to work on holidays and rest days. Work life balance is very low

A good working environment but not a good long-term solution
The good things- Disciplined - Camaraderie - Healthcare benefits for you and your family - Learning Japanese (Required but not free)
The challenges- OT is a MUST in demanding projects. - Opportunities to grow are VERY limited as the skillset you'll learn is mostly used in very specific work which you may not be able to use outside DENSO. - Salary growth is also VERY slow.

A mix of Japanese & Filipino office culture
The good thingsLots of training, projects are not logically difficult, clean & spacious office, cr and pantry, free coffee & juice. Most of the employees are friendly (Filipino Culture I guess). Free Japanese Language Class once, twice, or 5 times a week depending on your level!
The challengesEndless overtime even during day-offs(Japanese Culture). Low performer gets low opportunity to grow and improve. Very slow career progression even for a high performer. Tasks aren't equal between groups while you share the same compensation and benefits. Tasks are not standard for all career levels in the company. Meaning to say, there are higher ups who do nothing to contribute to the group, and some are given an opportunity to grow which they do not deserve.

    Good for fresh graduates
The good thingsClassroom type C language and Nihongo training are provided. Benefits are competitive. Majority of the associates are composed of young individuals, mostly fresh graduates are hired. Friendly people.
The challengesLow salary given for such difficult tasks that require high productivity and quality. No skill growth and skill provided are not in demand.

Learned a lot especially I developed my analytic skills and professionalism here.
The good thingsThe working atmosphere. Everyone is willing to help you in times of difficulty. Free Nihongo class. It is included in your man-hour. They provide training to make sure that you will do your task well. They always encourage the employees to improve.
The challengesThe salary is not competitive. But I think the management has already plans to solve this problem.

Good people but barely any professional/career growth
The good thingsThe people are great. Everyone gets along well, good company while you work. The company will teach you discipline and work ethics, also the free nihongo training.
The challengesSalary is very low, you will have a hard time if you are the breadwinner of a family unless your position is very high up. They provide \"training\" however most of it will become irrelevant once you leave the company.

No career development, not recommended for fresh grads who are looking for career development
The good thingsThe camaraderie. The bonding you share with the people here are priceless. It's never hard to communicate with one another. Also free Japanese language traning, it's great if you're really into Japanese. Also lots of benefits
The challengesInsane workload and really low pay. If you're looking for a development in your career, then Denso is not the place for you. You'll just be doing the same tasks for as long as you stay. Sometimes there are new \"trainings\", but these just focuses on the standards of Denso, not the actual skill development of employees. Oh, and there's no internet connection and cellphones are not allowed.

    Perfect work-life balance
The good thingsOne good thing is my working environment. Since we belong in the same age group, alot of us have something in common. We go well together, we perform our tasks effectively and efficiently. We never had trouble communicating with each other. Handling any project is a breeze.
The challengesIn a not so stressful environment can be a problem to us in the future. We cannot tests our selves if we are able to handle those hard /stressful tasks. Other than that, there are a lot of green horns in our company. These guys can be a liable when it comes to the quality output.
