From a nurturing work environment to its commitment to innovation and personal growth, Dell has truly set a benchmark for excellence in the industry. Though it was a short working stint.     The good thingsThis has been my second family , you get all the support that you needed from the management down to the ops. If you work hard you will be rewarded, every year they will give you an increase based on your work performance. Benefits wise are really very nice especially HMO.
    The challengesLots of work to do, multi tasking but once you prove yourself you get the reward in the long run.

    The good thingsGreat Perks, Great People and Management style. The working hours were day and night shifts. Great training and skill upgrade and you will have the opportunity to take technical certifications appropriate to your job level. If you can manage your time you could also take additional course being offered as a scholar in campus and university subsidized by the company. With Great Health benefits, Sports, and Leisure time activities in the company premises, such as xbox consoles, Billiard pools, ping pong tables, Complete Gym equipment, 10 Computers for Networking games such as LOL, DOTA2 and simple internet, Library for scholars, Clinic and separate beds for men and women who wants to take a power nap.

    Excellent Way to Kick off Your Career!
    The good thingsWhat I'm really proud of is Dell's culture, how they always do there best to make work fun somehow, value their employees through awards, giving recognition or hosting events. I may not have found my dream job here but I can say that I found the ideal company that I want to work in. Once you work in Dell, you can work anywhere!
    The challengesIt is sometimes hard to get recognized for your work efforts or even if you are already with the company for quite sometime now. The clients would usually ask for more than what can be expected to be done by the agents, especially even if most of the time they aren't reaching the quotas. The managers or team leads however do their best to help those in need. It would also be great if they add more jobs for the morning shift.

    The good thingsPay and benefits are very good - transportation allowance generous and HMO benefits excellent. Typical US technology company with good career development and training programs in place for employees. Processes and systems are clearly defined, documented and observed.
    The challengesA bit stressful being a technology customer support business, competition is high due to having sites in multiple locations. Processes can get changed overnight and can become complicated. Being a night shift operation is also a challenge in the long run.

    My experiences while working with Dell
    The good thingsThe company had a nice working environment. Management provided us with the best facilities and equipment. Benefits were excellent. The compensation was very competitive. Excellent managers. Very helpful and can always count on when you need assistance. Company always had employees benefits in mind.
    The challengesI consider the challenges while working with the company was the product itself. I wish more training were given to the employees to familiarize themselves with the product so that when customers calls in to inquire, we are very familiar with it.
