Managing DirectorThank you for your review. We are sorry you had a terrible 6-week employment with us. With multiple absences, a complaint from a client and a colleague, not to mention going AWOL, we are unsure how you define unprofessionalism. The company maintains a culture that values excellent service, teamwork, camaraderie, and independence. Employees who don’t share the same culture will indeed have a hard time adapting.

I had a hard experience with the boss always down grading me and telling me i am not good enough
The good thingsI learned creativity in a way that i'll be able to use it in my work right now. They challenged me on how to be more creative in a limited set up and limited environment.
The challengesEverything. You have to comply with the taste of the boss. I was always grasping what is right and wrong in terms of the creativeness i am delivering. You also have to go inside the box because your ideas how beautiful it may seem to you will never be appreciated. I also had no sounding board at work. Shallow communication with my work mates. It was one of those jobs that is depressing because nothing is new it feels like waking up to the same situation, low salary, and repeated tasks.

Creative DirectorThis employee was a fresh grad and had zero training in writing contents or materials for pharma collaterals, which require a very specific tone and style. We hired him thinking he is open to be mentored and has the capacity to offer creativity that can cater to our clients’ needs. A fresh grad’s view on what “beautiful and creative” is may not be the same as what a person with years of experience in the pharma industry has. We run a business where we follow a certain standard for quality and excellence. Being open and actually listening to the comments would have helped him improve. Disapproving a shockingly unsatisfactory work only means the work submitted is below the company’s standards, let alone the client’s. The intention is not to put you down but to challenge you to stretch your capabilities and to strive to do better. He was terminated not because he could not deliver what is expected of him but because he was working on projects not related to our company during office hours while using the company’s resources.
