    On Call Part time teacher

it was what you should expect as an on-call part time tutor
The good thingsI liked the flexibility of time. I can arrange the days for when I'm free to work. There were 3 sessions; morning/afternoon/night sched which made it easier for me to contact them a day before. The salary is also great for a part time job.
The challengesMy work was office-based, which I have no problem at all. It's just that the staff in charge of the printed materials are not reliable. Sometimes, it felt like they did not understand the lessons/exercises/tests that they were handing out. It's like they saw a free ielts test online and decided to print it out nevermind knowing how to make use of it. Also they print the materials to be used on the same day so it takes time, sometimes even longer than an hour for I or the students to receive anything from them. They also don't have any sort of training for the new teachers. They expect you to know the subject even though you have just mentioned that you were knew to it and have questions on how to teach it.
