There are hard times and good times
The good thingsIt's quite relaxed during the off season which lasts for approximately 7 months (around early/late may to late novmeber / early december). The life in the area is quite laidback and relaxing. It's also quite easy to save up since there is not much malls etc nearby (unless you go to Tagaytay everyday, about 1-1.5 hr bus ride).
The challengesSalary is a bit on the average range. Work during milling season can be really taxing especially during summer season when the heat really spikes up. The shifting nature of the work might also be a bit hard if you're not used to working in shifts, especially graveyard shifts.
