    Climbing up the ladder may be compared to enrolling on a school for pilots.
    The good thingsRegular working hours and opportunity to grow through continued studying as enrolling into the academe is encouraged.
    The challengesThere's too limited items for promotion and it takes too long for you to even get promoted and consumes a lot on your working years. Work automation seems to be so impossible and processes are too long and too many requirements and papers are needed making simple transactions too complicated. Processes and tools are too old and outdated which makes the simple process a complicated task to accomplish. Leaders too don't exert effort and are too lenient to improve and systematize the processes.

    My internship there was relatively short but meaninful. The experience it provides gives a great deal on the track of my CPAship couls be worth trailing for.
    The good thingsThe people there where nice and the workplace is also very conducive. As a government office, it could be very bureaucratic and challenging but is a good way of traning once's skills.
    The challengesThere are many challenges that especially dealing with the taxpayers and other workmates but one should bear in mind to be always professional and be abiding to the Citizen's Charter and to the Code of Ethics.

    Having fun while learning!
    The good thingsI joined the VAT Audit Group for my OJT and was lucky to work with such great Revenue Officers & Supervisor. I experienced firsthand the process of auditing taxpayers specifically in the VAT field. I also learned the basic and quite few of the "techniques" in understanding the revenue regulations involving VAT.
    The challengesSince I live a bit far from the office, my daily fare have been greater than the allowance that I received weekly. But then, it's better though because as I've heard, others were not given allowance.
