Maybe curious, but definitely not dynamic; and not authentic at all.
The good thingsIf you speak English very well and have very good connections within, you'll get your way around really fast. The onboarding process (and the NHO session) is excellent, and shuttle service is very efficient too.
The challengesThe office looks anything but "dynamic," it just looks like a glorified computer shop from a decade ago. They also have a tendency to let their clients put one over them, lest they terminate the business relationship; not very "authentic" at all. To top it off, this is the first organization where I got to experience "tall poppy syndrome" in action; the impact was so much that, every time I pass by their office building, I still get anxiety attacks. While the onboarding process was excellent, it turned out to be just a façade. It seemed promising at first, but I would now not even recommend them to my worst enemies.

The role may just be seasonal but I didn't like every bit of my stay.
The good thingsRecruitment process is smooth
The challengesOnboarding is a waste of time. The trainer is a joke. People from operations are gas-lighters, first pay is delayed even though you prioritized all you pre-emp documents and got confirmation that PX people received them.

It feels like Boldr has undergone significant changes recently, and the company now seems quite different from what it used to be.
The good things- Good Benefits (though the employee needs to look into it more to better understand the benefits. Regardless, good benefits!) - Good company to start with if you want to gain experience (though it differs per role)
The challengesI encountered a lot of challenges in the company, to a point I had to reevaluate if I was the problem. Here are some of the challenges that I faced and heard: - Opportunity for growth is there but it depends on the TC that you have. - A LOT of things are not being communicated with the employees. - The frequent team restructurings have created uncertainty, even among tenured employees.

    No growth, no challenge
The good thingsAnnual salary increase is great.
The challengesThere's no challenge, no experience gaining new knowlege. Work is spoon fed to the agents. Tried applying for different positions but they prefer hiring someone external, contradicts their values where they mentor and train people for career growth.

    Working at Boldr PH Inc.
The good thingsCompany was fast to implement work from home back in 2020 when the pandemic started. The company also provides the employees their own equipment to start working. No need to buy your own laptop/pc.
The challengesManagement could use some work. They listen to the employees' needs but the sudden salary restructure was very shocking. I wish they informed or sent surveys beforehand to ask the employees for their opinon.

    Unpredictable schedule
The good things-The upper management's effort to make employees happy -Seasonal account is easy -Great pay
The challengesIt's hard to make plans because they don't have fixed shifts/rest days for the seasonal account. Worse, when you're assigned to phones, you still have to answer emails when you're available. This is okay when you are tenured but this is too much when you're new and still learning. I have worked with a similar account before, and I can say that the system here is a bit ridiculous. I like the account but the leadership just hasn't figured things out yet. For the next ramp, I hope they fix the scheduling, and let the agents work on emails peacefully.

I was not entertained for interview.
The good thingsNone. A red flag for me.
The challengesSent me an interview invitation. Waited too long in their provided Google Meet link and I also sent an email for confirmation of my attendance for the said interview but no response received.

NO FEEDBACK GIVEN WHEN THEY PROMISED TO
The good thingsNOTHING, they did not exhibit professionalism when they didn't provide me a feedback!
The challengesI was an applicant and after the many things that they made me do and many meetings, despite countless follow up about my application no feedfback was given. A Month past and nothing. I could have applied in other companies and not have waited. Even a template of rejection will suffice. What a total waste of time!

Great and Unique Start-up BPO! Very Impact-Driven Culture
The good thingsUnorthodox way of running a BPO Company. The culture are impact-driven and always thinking out of the box to improve relationships with their Clients, Employees, and the Community.
The challengesAs a start-up BPO, it is normal that operations and support teams run in a different synergy. Different than your usual Global BPOs.

A Company that truly cares about it's people
The good thingsThis company really values it's employees. They value curiosity, being dynamic and authenticity. This is a BPO company that just doesn't treat you as an ''employee number''. They also help out the community in every way they can, which they do because it's really part of their mission and just as a PR stunt, like most big BPOs do.
The challengesThere are still some broken processes that need to be fixed. The new leadership team understands that and is now really trying to iron out everything. I think the new team will succeed in doing this ( unlike what the previous managers did or didn't do because they obviously had no experience in handling people)

    Boldr
The good thingsThe people you work with, especially teammates, will offer you a hand whenever you need help. I work on rotating schedules so it's a bit Flexi here.
The challengesA few team leads would take the credit of your work, you'd be "sulit na sulit" once you show that you can do stuff on your own. The atmosphere here is very welcoming and friendly. It's a great place to work if not for politics.

    Boldr... Boldr
The good thingsI had great time during recruitment. they are very welcoming from the first call until my first day... Well, I am still able to say hi and they check on me from time to time. My team and TC are solid even if the client is difficult. A lot of learning from the way leaders like tonet, chi and eric work.
The challengesThe office is dirty and roaches are everywhere. Some managers are not good examples of the company culture.

    A Bold New Place
The good thingsBoldy really pushed its' employees to go the extra mile and fill in as many hats as we could. We were always told to add value in whatever we did, and that felt amazing. Also, knowing that whatever we did helped local communities added to the pride in doing our work. Very few start ups have that attitude and that's what attracted me to working with them.
The challengesThe constant push can be difficult to cope with. We're always tackling new challenges left and right and it can get overbearing sometimes. Filling in multiple hats does add to the stress of work and not having a clearly defined job does dip my feet in fields that I normally wouldn't deal with.

A fast paced environment with room for improvement
The good thingsBoldr is a 2 year old company that is still figuring out what is the best course of action. Although its relatively new, there are over 200 employees. The great thing about Boldr is that they constantly try to be genuine about their vision and takes the needed actions for it. Boldr invests in the culture. With board game Fridays, books clubs, and everyone is friendly and ready to help in any way they can.
The challengesThe company could work on being transparent with the everyone. Timelines and delivery of promises are slow. Sadly, you can feel the gap between management vs. everyone else although they try their best to make it work and try to make it fair for everyone. Expectations are high as they expect you to do multiple things at once, but its only fair because this company is a start up and they are slowly trying to make roles more specific.
