    There is significant room for improvement in how the company treats and empowers its workforce.
    The good thingsUnfortunately, my experience with Bataan 2020 was overwhelmingly negative. During my time with the company, I did not encounter any notable positives in terms of work culture, management, or employee development.
    The challengesThe environment was disorganized, leadership lacked transparency and support, and there was little regard for employee well-being or growth.

    Good for Short Time Only
    The good thingsStarting salary for a management trainee/ cadet engineer is good (but still not at par with other companies).
    The challengesThey will bond you in a 2 years or more contract if you are a trainee. After the 6 months probationary period, the salary does not move much. It's either you stay with a low salary to finish the contract, or just like others did, look for better opportunities outside and pay the contract price. Also they expect too much. THE SALARY IS NOT WORTH THE STRESS!

    Challenging Work Environment
    The good thingsOne of big 3 paper mills in the Phil. Management is good, they care for their employees through giving lots of benefits and willing to invest on employee relations. An environment friendly paper mill with lots of opportunities and a good place for career growth.
    The challengesThey require 6 working days for those who are involved in operations. Maintenance of paper machine is challenging since most of the equipment are old. Management would always put up pressure on without putting working efficiency at stake.

    The good thingsOne of the TOP 3 company in paper making industry and a rising dragon for International Market. Always recognize good employee, promotion is not a problem. Salaries are high and EXPERIENCE is a whole lot better.

    The good thingsThe offer is high for an entry level (management trainee position). It was like an extension of college days. The setup iof the 6-month training was classroom-type, everything will be fed to you, and you have \"classmates\".
    The challengesEach segment requires a presentation which is like a thesis defense where you are expected to give recommendations on things taught to you for a few days. Also, it is management discretion which department you will be assisgned after the 6-months and you have no choice. The department i was assigned is very discouraging, no defined training or guidance at all. The work time is very long and no OT.
