    Good Company for Fresh Graduates
The good thingsFriendly and Supportive Colleague, Work life balance, Competitive Salary.
The challengesProprietary programming language. You can only depend on other seniors' solution since it is not available on the internet.

    A company that cares
The good thingsComparing from previous companies, this is the only one that I see the management listening to their employees. No one hesitates to ask and to negotiate what they want and how things should be done. My colleagues are really helpful and the salary and benefits are superb! The workload is also manageable. If you want a work life balance then this company is for you.
The challengesThe language is proprietary and you will have a difficult time debugging your code which is why you should not hesitate to ask your helpful coworkers.

    Very great work culture!
The good thingsAvaloq always strive to reward their employees for a job well done. They have a lot of programs for the career growth of all their employees and very competitive in terms of salary.
The challengesThere are things to improve, it is normal for every company, but the culture here is very different and they always take care of the well-being of their employees.

    Very poor management
The good thingsThe salary is average. Some coworkers are genuinely nice.
The challenges-Micromanaging -No career growth. Stagnation at its finest. -The head is ineffective on managing its members -Head is only thinking of his/herself rather than its members -They do not have an organized structure that truly works for its members -Pushing things that will not benefit anyone and only for the sake of "having something done" Suggestions: -Think more about your people. You are nothing without your people. -If you truly care about your members, stop thinking only about your career.

    Great company culture
The good things- Most projects use latest technologies (frontend / backend) - Management is transparent about plans and decisions - Benefits and perks are plentiful - Work life balance is great - Ideas/opinions of everyone are valued
The challenges- Some projects mainly use proprietary technologies. This can be a challenge if your career track is not focused on these.

Basically good. The learning potential is vast.
The good thingsLots of learning potential of you want to pursue a career related to banking. Lots of oppurtunities.
The challengesIf your not into banking, you might find it boring plus the tech is proprietary.

    My AVQ experience
The good thingsvery supportive team lead. Support training ot certification required for work, may it be oracle training or even an MBA. Performance is compensated thru a certain reward. On-site assigment to foreign counterparts. SSU ...
The challengesInitial challenge was since it's proprietary, it's hard, some answers aren't readily available online. But there is an site for documentation or coaches from each team.

Not a place to start your career
The good thingsNice office, amazing pantry, free afternoon snacks, free coffee/tea. Office is located near the bus station/mall.
The challengesAs a junior, I didn’t find the support I was expecting from a manager. Good thing, colleague tried to help out as possible. Manager frequently changes the team objectives. It seems no clear plan or direction.

    Fair company, open mind people
The good thingsAvaloq is a good place where to work.I am well paid and I have right balance life/work. It is an international company where buddies are helpful , most of the managers are open-mind and honest . Some senior foreigners in the company (available to listen and to discuss ). Banking and IT matters complex but challenging. A lot of events in the company.
    The challengesToo many events.

    Regrettable stay
The good thingsCompany with number of young colleague, lots of after office activity, snacks, coffee.
The challengesThe organization is managed by technical people without proper knowledge of project and people management. I thought I’ll be a better consultant after the 2 year bond. I have full of regrets, as what I learned is to be selfish and not to be scolded by the foreign SME.

    Not the same as before
The good thingsNew office, beautiful pantry, free brewed coffee and afternoon snacks.Youthful environment
The challengesNo career direction. Immediate supervisor is more concern about her well-being; No one is guiding the junior developer on how to be better. Proprietary technology. Upper management is influenced by a technical foreign consultant.

    Poor management
The good thingsOffice location. Work area, over flowing coffee, free afternoon snacks
The challengesPoor management, lack of experience with people management. Not allowed to rest during lunch break, you will be reprimanded if you take a nap during lunch break. No career growth. It's my mistake to have joined this organization.

The challengesLack of management experience. Manager is not thinking about your growth. He will still compete with you regarding task instead of guiding junior how to be better.

Challenging to work at but you'll surely learn and enjoy.
The good thingsThe good thing about Avaloq is they believe in work-life-balance. I enjoyed my stay here. I have gained a lot of experience and discover a lot of things in terms of technical recruitment. I will definitely recommend Avaloq to my friends or colleagues.
The challengesThe number of their open positions.

feedback of my 3 yrs experience
The good things-Good colleagues (smart co-works) -Usual Employee Benefits -Free merienda (turon, puto etc.)
The challenges- lack of meeting rooms - proprietary technology (If you like open source this is not for you) - Unclear path to promotion - low salary (not align in market) - too many hierarchy layers (Junior Developer - ASE1 - ASE2 - SE1 - SE2 -SSE and so on) - You will have 2 year bond
