    Challenging but worth the pressure
    The good thingsknowledge learned both in sales and in product knowledge and how to apply it in a real world with so much confidence.

    Work-Life Balance is Important
    The good thingsSo far, I haven't found any other company that values the work-life balance of their employees as much as it is in AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals. The company is also generous when it comes to the benefits its employees receive. The work they provide helps you grow as an individual. The employees here are almost like a big family.
    The challengesIt was a challenge to be assigned in field which means you must be open to travel. One must be skilled and adaptable for the job and must know how to keep good relations with other employees with the same position while on field. There are several rules one must keep in mind as you will represent the company while in field.

    The best employer I had up to now. It has a great culture- all people are willing to learn and all are willing to help. Too sad we were given early retirement. Most top executives now in pharma are mostly from AZ.

    It was a nice experience after all
    The good thingsThe company has a very competitive benefits package. They do consult with employees and share details about benchmarking on compensation and benefits package. The environment is friendly although power distance may still be felt.
    The challengesIf you are looking for a vertical growth, opportunities for career advancement is low because the organization is lean. However cross functional growth is highly encouraged so there is still a room for employees to grow career-wise.
