    I applied and worked in one of the biggest car parts manufacturing plants here in the Philippines. I started as a Quality Inspector for Assembly Line. We manufactured automotive parts like transmission assembly, gear, hub & sleeve synchronizer, and other component parts installed on a manual transmission. After a few years of being an Inspector, I applied for the position of Quality Assurance Staff in the same company that handles Customer Complaints such as Line & Field Claims, handling procedures and Inspection Standards, and providing counter measures and I am doing this job for almost 10 years up to now.

    Good benefits,yearly salary increase, friendly and supportive colleagues, the best supervisor!
    The good thingsI learned a lot from this company. I was given the chance to work independently and to decide on my own. Most of my suggestions were heard, you can freely talk and voice out your opinions to the head. Due to great benefits, despite the initial low salary, I was able to save a lot. Working hours is from 7-4pm only, Mondays to Fridays. Sack of rice every month. I love this company!
    The challengesThere is politics in the workplace, some union officers are becoming too selfish to the extent that they wanted to push unreasonable benefits for themselves (e.g. unlimited union leaves, etc.). There was nepotism.
