My previous job is dispatcher so is a line to my applying as Asian Terminal. I encounter different driver and trucking and I also have a knowledge for the terminal .
The good thingsThe most I like is the challenging and different situation that I will encounter everyday .
The challengesI don't like is when I don't have to do for that day.

I have been in the company for 6 years and peopl are really great. It is a great help too that they have shuttle service since I live distant from the work location. I've learned how to have time management, more focus in work and appreciating what you have.
The good thingsThey have shuttle service, meals are free and they are great in managing people. They also provide complete government benefits.
The challengesProvinicial rate and for the last 6 years they don't have much appraisal.

Good technical knowledge but no career and personal growth
The good thingsThe high salary plus OT pay that it is almost leveled, if not higher than managerial position outside. The technical knowledge and troubleshooting. Good benefits especially with the number of leaves.
The challengesLittle career and personal growth for professionals. Perilous job for people who are used to work in offices.

    Working at Asian Terminals Inc.
The good thingsAsian Terminals, Inc. (ATI) has always put the safety of its personnel as its top priority. This can be felt by everyone who works there. Working there has been a great experience especially being given the opportunity to be mentored by the Chief Executive Officers whom I have assisted and worked with the last 13 years. My co-workers are helpful and Teamwork is evident among departments. A goal is achieved because if Team Effort. It is also worth remembering how we are entertained during the corporate Christmas party fostering camaraderie among co-workers where employees in all levels participate in the departmental presentation. It was an honor to be part of ATI.
The challengesIt was the distance from home to office which made my working experience challenging. Other than this, the challenges I have experienced at ATI were no different from the other companies I have worked for. There is no such thing as a perfect company. Issues are being acted upon by Management soonest. With regards to traffic, it may be useful to have flexi work sched, or work from home arrangement if need be.

I've learned a lot from ATI from accounting to operations. There are different experiences between by the book and actual operations
The good thingsATI offers good benefits, focus on safety of people, offers incentives and provide opportunity for growth. Internal employees are given a chance to apply for higher position, giving a chance to get to the corporate ladder. ATI has also become part of CSR projects protecting external environment and other stakeholders.
The challengesVarious challenges focus on how to keep your people safe, assertive and meet their individual KPI (key performance indicator). As for my position, the challenges I faced are those tight timeline for submission of budget, analysis and other related to statistics requirement.
