One of the best eye center in the Philippines!
The good thingsYou get to immerse in a clinical eye clinic set up. You are able to unlock your potential in the different areas of the eye center. 2 days off, no holidays and longer Christmas break. Management treat you like a family. They help you discover your path if you are suited in the clinical or administrative pathway. I especially love the Rockwell branch, good mentors!
The challengesNumber of patients. Which is understandable in a clinical set up. Everything is dependent on your mindset

You cannot excel if you are not one of the favorite of the management
The good thingsNothing! Toxic environment, co workers especially the management. Fake people and users
The challengesYou have to deal with a lot of plastic people.

Do extensive research and decide before you commit. Overall it can be a good opportunity but do it with caution.
The good things- Company has a reputable name in terms of eye care with research institute for clinical advancement. - Wonderful learning on optometry and ophthalmology (medical and surgical). - A lot of trainings and seminars for career education. - Average benefits/perks (esp eye care). - Challenging work expectations that can lead to growth depending on how you interpret it.
The challenges- No work-life balance. (1st month - 1 day off per week), succeeding, additional 2 days off only. - Work culture is different. Be cautious and alert at all times. Never trust everybody easily. - Some doctors have CHALLENGING attitude. Know where you stand and be firm with your values. Don't let these affect you as a person. - Management issues (attitude). Be cautious at ALL TIMES. - Salary is average especially to rank and file. Not the best in the field. - Operations can be stressful most of the time. - Glorifies over working. - Works onsite.

I was taught well especially that it is a new industry to me.
The good thingsI love my colleagues at Alabang branch and my very understanding head of satellite clinics.
The challengesThe pandemic is the only reason why I resigned, if there is no pandemic I would still be in the company.

new business model improves health care provision
The good thingsThe delineation between professional management and generalmanagement ensured that you get the best of both worlds - quality health provision and quality management practices.
The challengesThe challenge is to prevent the predominance of one over the other - it should be similar to a symbiotic relationship. This business model is also frequently misunderstood as an over-emphasis on financial interests but in reality it has been established to ensure quality of health provision

    Ophthalmic Associate / Ophthalmic Technician
The good thingsAs a member of the team before, I remember so many opportunities offered to me. Not only when it comes to professional expertise but also social responsibility. I became more pro people which is one of the goals of the company. I was able to know different techniques and wide range of knowledge in ophthalmology. Being a ophthalmology nurse made me a better person. Thanks to Asian eye institute! :)
The challengesEven though playing an active role of the team. I was assigned as a satellite nurse to channel patients in the latter part of my experience. I wish I could be part of the main office which caters to a lot of patients. I love being satellite nurse however how I wish I had help more people when it comes to their eye problems in order to become an inspiration to them because their eyes are worth it.
