If you want growth, this is the right place.The good thingsThe best part of working in APC is that I am given room to improve, innovate, and make a difference not just in my life but more importantly in the lives of young people. I have been motivated since day 1 and, after almost 7 years, my motivation never waned. I am always happy and excited to go to work each day. Management is very supportive. It's an excellent institution and I will not last this long if I do not believe in its mission and vision, if I am not in sync with its core values: industry, innovation, and integrity. Lots of improvements are being done each year -- facilities, compensation & benefits, etc. I love that we are encouraged to upgrade ourselves -- finish graduate school, do something productive outside work, health & wellness, give back to the community. It is up to me how I can be a better employee each year.
The challengesLike any organization, there are lazy and unmotivated colleagues that I am forced to work with. It is a challenge for me since we inculcate hard work in our young students. Employee engagement level could also still be better.
