Good working experience but lack of support from management when everything doesn't go well and unfair policy treatment among its employees
The good thingsworking environment - people are nice and accommodating
The challengesA lot - unfair policy treatment among its employees, confusing HR procedures and lack of support from management especially when issues arise about your role.

    Good for starters
The good thingsThis is the best start if you want to pursue your career as System Administrator. They will provide training and a certificate. You need to cope around with different experiences in any possible ways, specifically, working with your soft skills and to become a team player.
The challengesA lot of patience for supporting to end users.

If you want growth, this is the right place.
The good thingsThe best part of working in APC is that I am given room to improve, innovate, and make a difference not just in my life but more importantly in the lives of young people. I have been motivated since day 1 and, after almost 7 years, my motivation never waned. I am always happy and excited to go to work each day. Management is very supportive. It's an excellent institution and I will not last this long if I do not believe in its mission and vision, if I am not in sync with its core values: industry, innovation, and integrity. Lots of improvements are being done each year -- facilities, compensation & benefits, etc. I love that we are encouraged to upgrade ourselves -- finish graduate school, do something productive outside work, health & wellness, give back to the community. It is up to me how I can be a better employee each year.
The challengesLike any organization, there are lazy and unmotivated colleagues that I am forced to work with. It is a challenge for me since we inculcate hard work in our young students. Employee engagement level could also still be better.

I found a family in this company
The good thingsEvery one in this workplace gives people a warm welcome and accommodation that you will want to stay here permanently. This company gave me a lot of opportunities to grow and develop personally and professionally. The students are also easy to get along with and they respect teachers. I'm sure that anyone who will work here will love working and staying here for a long time.
The challengesWell, the distance from house to work may be challenging and the traffic in EDSA is really frustrating but those are just external factors. Also, may be some surprise observation and evaluation may be scary but it never fail to give us a lesson worth remembering. Aside from that, the work itself and the environment are truly enjoyable.

Good company; just not adequate for my career objective
The good thingsThe VP for Student Affairs recognizes accomplishments, transactions are paperless, the building is really good (on the outside at least), professional development subsidy is provided.
The challengesThe position I had just did not match my personality and my career objectives. On the other note, what I did not like was their way of recruiting students, some key staff whose attitude and self-concept are just above/below normal. Also, workloads of two people are compressed and tasked to one person
