The good thingsYou will learn the ropes of the book publishing industry. This is the best place to learn the book publishing chain. The company publishes the greats in the Philippines. No other publishing house in the Philippines comes close to what the company has achieved.
The challengesPay is very low. You get your leaves AFTER a year of working there. The management doesn't seem to know the responsibilities and duties of its employees. Some employees do more work than they could but they are not getting paid very well. Management also doesn't know how to keep its talent. This causes a high turn-over rate for the company. Promotion RARELY happens. Management has poor hierarchy structure.

    A learning experience.
The good thingsEmployees go along with each other. Follow/observe some government regulations on benefits like leaves, minimum wage, promoting existing workers. Giving bonus when targets met yearly.
The challengesSalary standardization. Meeting from time to time to check whether the rules or regulations are being followed. Meeting to check necessary stocks are being served. Planning earlier to avoid last years mistakes. Control office politics.
