    Best workplace I've been in
The good thingsI think the best thing about this place is the company culture. Despite the remote setup where we don't see each other in an office, I feel that I am trusted to do my work, and that actually encourages me to work better and be focused, because I'm not stressing over pressure. Work-life balance is also respected, and from observation, I can see that leaves are respected, whether it's for an associate or a manager. Other than that, I feel that they mean it when they say they want open communication—there is a continuous effort to check on each other. For instance, our team has daily meetings to update each other, and at times this time is used to share tips, or share pain points in the process so potential improvements can be discussed. The team I work with also established a weekly session to just talk about ourselves so we can get to know each other, and I think efforts like that work really well in a remote environment, since we don't see each other in the office. Other than that, because team members are eager to hear my thoughts on discussions, there is a positive sense of responsibility and stewardship that's instilled, as well as a sense of real teamwork. My managers are always looking for ways to help me improve, and it's encouraging to try new things and look for ways to help them back. I'm not sure how else to explain it other than that I feel the workplace relationships are pretty healthy. Even the partners, or who you might be able to say are at the top of the company hierarchy, position-wise, are present. They don't feel like vague figures you never meet because they do take the time to get to know everyone; they make the time to be with us weekly and even take part in mini-games prepared by members. Perhaps it's also important to point out here that the prevailing culture is to not have a hierarchy based on age or position, which makes it a bit easier to just communicate with each other. People are also willing to guide you for things you are new with, and collaboration is encouraged. Some other things to point out is that you are trusted to do your work , and they pay attention to the needs of members. Laptop stands were distributed to prevent overheating, and keyboards and headphones to be distributed for people who need it for work.
The challengesThe biggest challenge for me is probably with the timekeeping. I get why it's needed so we can charge clients, but I guess it can be difficult having to box tasks in a certain timeframe, at times slightly pressuring to see yourself working longer than is budgeted too. Another would be that Filipino culture is still somewhat prevalent, including the not-so-good parts. Despite the importance placed on taking initiative, it can still be common to "voluntell" people into doing things. Fortunately, this happens mostly with non-work related things such as hosting meetings, or performances during meetups, so don't worry about it affecting the "actual work". It's just not something I personally like to see as a culture. There are also a few struggles with timeline differences with the client (since most are US-based), but nothing that can't be mitigated with communication, so far.

A workplace where one can grow
The good thingsSince we are all WFH, the leadership makes a great effort in establishing connections with us. They are concerned of our well-being and they provide us constant feedback which is a motivator to do well in our jobs.
The challengesThe challenge for me was the work adjustment since I came from other industries and have no prior experience in handling my current tasks. But, my current team is just a chat away; they are always there to answer my questions and assist me in whatever tasks I'm stuck on.

    Flexible work and approachable team
The good thingsThe flexible work schedule and resource planning allow me to manage my time wisely and balance work and life. The team is competent and easy to work/communicate with despite the remote work. I appreciate the culture that AGO has built where I can enjoy working from home!
The challengesMore laptop accessories such as keyboard covers and laptop stands (with fans) would be appreciated. A laptop with longer battery power would be better for when there are unscheduled power outages.

    Radical/Revolutionary
The good thingsThe leadership here are creating a rather radical approach to office or work experience. We all work from home, sort of a flexi time schedule, communication is very open and encouraged actively, you will feel that there is no wall between you and the bosses. You can talk freely of your goals/aspirations/ideas without being judged or shut down. They are very supportive even with your personal life. I think this radical way is the future of companies.
The challengesThere are time constraints and time keeping

    Friendly/ Productive Workplace
The good thingsThe application process was conducted professionally. The interviews are on schedule; when they say they will be contacting you a week from now, they will really contact you a week later. Interviews are conducted in this manner: Initial Interview, Manager’s Interview, and Partners’ Interview. My impression from the interviewers is that they really want to know my experiences and they want to understand me better to assess if I fit in with the company. AGO promotes open lines of communication with the team, the managers, and even the partners. If you are someone who wants to develop your communication skills or be confident with speaking out your ideas, and doing work from home accounting, consider joining AGO.
The challengesBeing assigned to my current role was a challenge for me at first since I have no experience handling my current tasks. But my teammates are always there to assist and give guidance on the procedures/ processes I must do to accomplish my tasks.

I love how AGO has core values that is imparted in each of the team members
The good thingsMost companies have vision and mission statements that are often too general and overlooked. AGO has core values that are relevant not just as on a professional scale but on a personal level as well. Being surrounded with like-minded individuals with the same values set apart AGO from other companies. It pushes you to be a better version of yourself.
The challengesOnline work is basically new for me especially on the communication/collaboration side. But with the guidance of the team, overcoming them is not so hard after all

It's fun to work in AGO
The good thingsIt's fun to work in AGO, I met people, make new friends and enhanced my skills such as communication, analytical, and leadership. They are all welcoming and very approachable even the partners are very open to communication and always there to help.
The challengesWorking in AGO, helped me to get out of my comfort zones and pushes myself to limit. And to become a better version of myself in career and in life. Ultimately, AGO is not just a company but also a family that we can rely on.

As a startup company, AGO has a fun working environment.
The good thingsThe team is very welcoming. During my first day and weekly meeting, everyone made an effort to greet, support me and they are all easy to talk to. The values collaboration and inclusiveness are highly practiced in the team. I can easily express my thoughts and ideas to the managers and they'll try to incorporate it and make it happen. They listen and take certain actions in the implementation of the idea. As a startup company, AGO works hard to be innovative. It looks for new ways to do things where the jobs and tasks will be more efficient and effective. Using new and secure ways to protect resources. Easy to learn apps, that saves time and manages your day efficiently.
The challengesIt’s a challenge for me to be creative all the time though it's a great pressure to improve work productive and self growth.
